Keep pricing flights to Berlin for Melt Festival again this year. Right now RT from Nashville is howevering around $1,200. If it drops to around 800 I'm probably gonna jump on it. Already booked my hotels in Dessau, Germany just incase.

can I have your room if you don't make it?
It's refundable. If you want to book I'm double booked at NH Dessau and the Raddison Blu. Both hotels are stops for the festival shuttle which runs every 30 minutes till around 7AM and is the most clutch thing ever.
Any of you ever do Dour Festival?? I'm pretty much down to that or Melt! I think to finish my vacation.
Never been to Dour but it has a reputation as the European equivalent of Camp Bisco, i.e., druggy AF. But the lineups there are great every year.
Yeah I'm actually in a group chat with some European dudes and one of them said it's known for MDMA zombies and that the better acts usually have small crowds (which is awesome).

FWIW, I did hear that the drugged up Walloon/French crowd can be aggressive, but I guess you can avoid most of those folks depending on what type of shows you pick.

They added Solange, De La Soul, Mr Fingers, Shobaleader One, Young Fathers, Kiasmos DJ, Machinedrum (live), The Gaslamp Killer, Lone (live) and a bunch of other stuff I've never heard of.
This line up seems lacking compared to past years, which is disappointing.
However, Cap'n Mac, notice that LCD doesn't say only AUS show next to them. So keep an eye out for an Australian LCD tour to be announced! And same for The XX, if they play in Sydney try and go (although I know this is more a me thing than a you thing, but still).
