Wonder Waffle is amazing, that kinda goes without saying though, because waffles are the best. Somehow they manage to keep the ice cream cold and the waffles hot.
Drizzle some syrup inside your ice cream waffle sandwich for maximum diabetes/enjoyment! (Really do it, it's so good)

Wow, thanks everyone for the quick replies. Being my 9th roo, you'd think that I would know a thing or two about the food vendors but I really don't.
How about good organic/sustainable vendors? I'll be looking out for the , but if any of you know of organic vendors off the top of your head, that'd be great. Thanks!
My boyfriend ate so many of the Wonder Waffle ice cream sandwiches last year. They are legit! I also had one of the chicken salad sandwiches from the Amish donut place (in the campgrounds) and it was huge and delicious.
Bearclaw Coffee place in Planet Roo is also legit. Good iced coffee, perfect for late night.
The "fresh fruit smoothies" from Strawberry Fields are the biggest example of false advertising ever. All that fresh fruit on the counters are just for show. As soon as you order a smoothie, they bust out the big jug of Sunny D and the frozen strawberries drowning in corn syrup. NEVER AGAIN!
My must-haves every year are Amish donuts and pretzels (especially the chicken salad sandwich on a pretzel bun), Outback Kate's Mambo Combo (gator nuggets, blackened chicken, jambalaya, & jalapeno hushpuppies), Gepetto's frozen mocha, and a Wonder Waffle.
For me, this year's most exciting addition is the Cochon de Lait po boy from Crawfish King (assuming it's made well). The one's they sell at Jazzfest are good enough to make my man-parts tingle
If its half as good as the jazzfest version its all I'm eating all weekend.

Crawfish King is my boy Shaggy! He is a NOLA local and has some of the best crawfish and is an amazing chef.
Spicy Pie (it's tradition rather than it being great)...
Oh it is great! Shut your mouth! In terms of price, size, and convienence it is a pretty good deal. Is there better pizza in the world? Absolutely! But I still wish I had an "I <3 Spicy Pie" t-shirt.

Don't get me wrong. I love it, but I wanted to hedge it a little since there is a sizable amount of people that do not.

Also just an FYI the Ben & Jerry's people do NOT judge you if you buy and eat ice cream then immediately return and buy more ice cream. Heard this from a friend.

quick follow up question I don't see the cochon or the crawfish king on this food list, where is it at?

I didn't see it either, but I know for a fact he will be there, because he told me he would be, but I would like it to be pointed out to me too.

So many good looking choices. I'm eating healthier these days but I'm putting that on hold and still looking forward to the arepas and Amish doughnuts. I'll also drink a lot of coffee.
I'm camping for the first time since 2004 so I'm planning to eat more food from vendors. New (to me) stuff that I'm looking forward to: Chicken and Waffles, bacon stuff from BaconLand, and waffle ice cream sandwich. Also going to eat plenty of sliced watermelon. And like postjack, if I figure out the "Cochon de Lait po boy from Crawfish King" thing I'm going to try that for the first time.

From what I have heard, he does crawfish for the artist, security and shit. Those Super VIP bitches. I might have to hit him up before I leave to find out specifics and see if I can get me some crawfish while out there. Will let you know.

2/6: Cherub
4/22: The Mountain Goats
5/25: Laura Jane Grace "Killing Me Loudly"
5/31: The Decemberists
6/11-6/14: BONNAROO 2015
6/28: Against Me!
6/30: Against Me!

I don't see it on the app either. Updated my app data too. But if he says he'll be there I'm assuming he knows what he's talking about. I just want to know where he'll be.

He said he is boiling Thursday, Sunday and Monday. That is NOT me he is responding to btw, I was just going to his page to message him and it was on there already and someone JUST asked.

It's under "NOLA crawfish King"
There's an impressive list of food he's gonna be doing
