1. Not leave Sunday night. It was convenient for getting out, but I much prefer staying until Monday morning. Circumstances just didn't warrant that this year.
2. Remember to bring my portable charger. The charging station people in vip sucked.

Not get a stomach bug on a Saturday night. I tried to power through my sickness with the aid of white wine, and it turns out that's actually not really a very good medicine for a stomach bug. Booze never failed me in the past, but this time I missed every freaking show that day!
1. Consider VIP 2. Bring liquor into Centeroo, thus cutting down on buying beer. (we did this Friday night and it was glorious, just buy a coke and mix) 3. Figure out a way to make good coffee at the campsite
Had my jetboil and French press. Made good coffee. Also brought in iced coffee concentrate that I had around 10-11am when it was getting hot out.

THIS for sure, but I loved every minute of the time I spent with ya!!! and yes I will make sure the portable charger goes into our Roo stuff!!!
1. Bring more than one costume 2. more light-up/glow stuff 3. actually dance (instead of shuffling awkwardly to the beat) 4. bring a stove 5. have waaaay more space on my phone for photos 6. have some kind of braids so I don't have to deal with my hair
This! I kept having to delete apps on my phone to create more room. I didn't bring my nice camera because I figured it was going to be raining all weekend, otherwise I would have been using that.
Pack a shit load less. I packed so much clothes, hardly even changed ever. More water. Didn't run out, but conserved too much. Bring grill. Fuck expensive ass food. Bring more money.
I'm pretty sure that was all I was annoyed about. Hahaha. What an amazing first time.
Adding to it: Don't speed when your mom rented a car for you and you're not on the driving list. They may impound the vehicle (55 all over Alafuckingbama). Also, after getting into that pickle, don't roll a stop sign in Tennessee when a passenger smoked skunk weed in the car. The cop will smell it as soon as you crack the window. Thank my lucky 'roo gods that they were chill as hell and made him dump it. And that the other cop let us keep driving while my mom "added" me to the driving list.
Bring coffee Get on the waterslide every day (it was freaking awesome) Bring earmuffs for my kid (if she comes along again) so we don't have to watch shows from the back every time. Bring less food Bring more snack foods into centeroo
We did make sweet love! Oh wait.. that was a dream I had. Always next year
I need to learn to balance my time more wisely with who I hangout with and see shows with. I did groop this year with a few inforoosters and I brought some friends of my own. I didn't spend nearly enough time with the wonderful inforoosters I had camped with. Probably my biggest regret. Oh and don't get so sick on Saturday that I spent all day at my camp sprawled out trying to get better
You're just too young to grasp how stylin' I really was. All the boys wanted to do me when I was 5. Actually the girls did too. My haircut was confusing.

Tejas dude almost everyone has that one day where they can't get their motor going. That day for me was Saturday because I didn't sleep at all the day before and can't sleep when the sun is up. But dude, I rallied so good that I stayed up until 4am that night just riding the good vibes alone. Be good to yourself when you need it and your body will reward you.
I hope to God he is there next year. Top of my list now.
I'd do RLARS just so I could stroll up front of the pit and have him step on my pretty white face. I know that'd make his day and he deserves to have days made.

I don't feel as tho this needs its own thread, but I'm curious- do you guys anticipate Roo 2015 to be June 11-14? Or could it be different? Trying to get friends to 'Save the Date'.

Sleep more beforehand and sleep more on wednesday/thursday. I went to Ghostbusters at 4 a.m. on Thursday night/Friday morning and that really limited me come Friday late nights.

trolling banned members aside, I can't believe none of you went to this show. One of the best of the weekend for us.

I want to try to be that person who sits down with people who are having a rough go of it and brightens their day. I feel like I get too single-track-minded about seeing the shows I want to see that I don't take the time to be a friend to people who might need it. It's good for the soul (theirs and mine) to do that occasionally.

This is really a great point. I notice when a lot of people talk about good vibes and generosity, it's about getting stuff from people. Maybe that's due to people not boasting about what they do for others, but it's always important to look for opportunities to help others at the fest. This mindset is a great one to bring back to the real world too.
One example was Saturday morning at Pod 8's water station, I turned around after washing my face and wetting my bandana to see a guy catch his woozy girlfriend. Another random guy and I flocked to them like we had training for this type of stuff. It was just intuitive to help them as we offered our water and wet rag to cool her. I'm not saying this to brag about anything that I did, but just being aware of those around me reinforced to communal aspect of Bonnaroo.
Another funnier story was a saw a guy near the back of the What field's toilets with his head between his knees. I asked if he was ok and knelt down next to him. He was in his late 50s, early 60s I imagine and alone. He looked up and just said, "Yeah, I'm fine, just resting my legs before Skrillex. This will be my fourth time to see him this year." What a guy! Totally shocked me.
I will actually check our bag to make sure we have everything. We had both air mattresses but one was missing the cap, we only had one sleeping bag and we forgot our pillows. After 7 roos you would think we would do better than that? Also fuck leaving on Mon. It took us 4 hr to get out of there. Back to leaving on Sun. night next year.
Next year I will stick to my gut and not agree to my boyfriends (ex?)friend coming with us. Talk about high maintenance. I still had a friggin blast as it was our 3rd anniversary and we met at Roo but jeeeeeeeez it was annoying dealing with a 4yr old trapped in a 27yr olds body.
