I'm not staying up until sunrise every single night next year.
I'm also bringing a cot and sleeping under an easy up. fuck tents. too damn hot.
Worse thing about the RV was the air conditioning. I was so sound to sleep that on Friday morning when I woke up and saw that it was 15 minutes until brunch the conversation went like this....
Me: Oh fuck, ANGIE!!! Angie: Yeah, I know.
And then we continued to hurricane and I covered the floor with glitter.
Next year I definitely need to remember pedialyte. It's easy to get caught up in drinking and eventually you get sick of straight water for re-hydration.
Also next year My gf and I are trying Silent Disco. On our way to Trapped in the Closet there was plenty of open space and it looks really fun. Watching those seniors in that Funny or Die video has convinced me to do it.
Yeah man good call. Silent disco has been one of my realistic regrets every year I've been, looks fun as hell but we always walk by and say yeah well be back and never do... And the pedialyte was a new edition for us this year, I'd recommend the freeze pop ones, you can't keep em frozen but they're nice and portable and we helped 3-4 people (who were flopping around on the ground) come back to after we gave em an extra we had on us. Vitamin C cough drops were good too cus chewing gum can fuck with ur jaws if u chew it all weekend. HEY also random addition cus I just saw your board name, I'm goin to a band tomorrow night called 'Start making sense' (talking heads cover band), if ur a big David Byrne fan u might already know them but SO worth checking out if they're ever in ur area. AND they open up for themselves as a hall n Oates cover band, does it get any better?!? Haha
I was just looking at videos of them the other day. They sure bring a large crowd for a cover band. I won't be going to any shows until I get my finances straight. Gonna have to sell my organs and soul just to try and see some shows next summer.

Everyone's got problems. <3 <3<3
Grrrrrrrrl, nothing wrong with that sound RV AC sleep. That what we paid extra for. I seriously had to wake john up at like 3:00 one day.

One of these days I'm going to buy an RV. And it's going to be glorious.

I did cot under ez up this year and was the envy of all my friends. Only downside was if I got up to pee or grab a water it got commandeered by one of the covetous Sleepyheads.

To add to the hydration comments, my buddy had something called Nuuns (I think?) this year, and swore they helped a ton. Some kinda tablet you add ti water. I brought a bunch of Mio Fit, which turned the crumby water into something Gatoradish, and worked great for me. I hear Zipfizz is good, too. We all meant to bring pedialyte and all forgot, but nobody was too torn up to have fun.

This was my first Roo and I went VIP... But I'm thinking about going GA next year. I went with my Pops and he needed to have a spot with A/C available and less walking. Our neighbors to our left were cool as hell, but the couple to the right, not so much. I was most definitely spoiled in VIP (I had more ice cream sandwiches than any one person should eat in their lifetime...), but I was definitely missing the "experience" that everyone has in GA.

You are correct sir. I went easy up this year and I'm never going back. For any festival really. Awning+tarp=super rain proof. And I could actually sleep past 8 am by lifting a wall or two and letting the breeze in.

I'm in the same boat. The easy access and light searches into Centeroo will be missed the most. I also went back to camp 4-5 times a day. I don't want to be put out in the boonies with a 30 minute walk to Centeroo each time. Showers were be a nice way to cool off in the heat and start your day off.

This is the year i discovered sleeping on a cot under the EZ up. This is the first year I brought a cot! It barely fit in my 2 person tent. When the sun rose on Thursday I pulled the cot 3/4 of the way out of my tent and slept another 45 minutes. Friday Morning I pulled the cot all the way out of the tent and placed it along the eastern wall of the EZ up for an additional 2 hours sleep. Saturday morning after napping for a bit in the grass following STS9 I just put the cot outside my tent under the EZ up and slept a good 4 more hours and didn't sleep in the tent again the rest of the weekend. Next year I'm not going to bother trying to sleep in the tent. The tent is my secondary locker where I'll keep my bags and booze that isn't fare game to any roving raiders and my car will remain my prime locker where I keep additional booze & food for restocking the tent. Next year I'd also like to make solid plans to caravan in with someone who plans to camp by their car. The folks who camped where I was parked were lovely wonderful always friendly when I saw them people but I found myself wondering who the other folks camping in that area were. Perhaps long time friends I missed an opportunity to meet?
#1 is a sturdy wagon of some sort. I bit off more than I could chew thinking I was going to haul my EZ up, a cot (a coleman that I sear weighs like 50 pounds), a tent, 2 chairs, and back pack filled with beers and water in one shot from Pod 1. I haven't thanked noodle! and his friend Nate enough for helping me get my shit to TO from Pod 1 at 1am +/- Thursday morning!! Seriously man next time you see Nate be sure to tell him I send my love and I look forward getting weird w/ yall at Hulaween!

Yeah, the light searches were very nice. By Sunday the guys checking bags at the VIP entrance into Centeroo told me to just bring in beers in my steel pint glass. And decent showers were awesome, but I think even the not-so-decent showers in GA will still be very much appreciated.
Next year I am bringing a cot, and a wagon. I think other than that we are set. When it got super hot, we laid under the EZup fans and were envious of the neighbors with their fancy cots.
