Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I highly doubt that Arcade Fire is hitting festivals next summer, unless they drop another new album. Otherwise it would make the third year in which they're playing shows to support Reflektor. After playing just about every single market in the world over the past year it just doesn't make sense.
Also Fleet Foxes doesn't really exist anymore, you guys know that, right?
Besides that lineup being amazing (at least for me personally) I actually think that is at least somewhat realistic, especially the top four. While I think it IS realistic, it certainly lacks the wow factor that roo has had in their headliners the last couple years, but there are very few artists that can be signed that would have the same impact as sir Paul or sir Elton. I think that this year will be a slight step back as far as headliners go. But I'd be ecstatic to have what you proposed cause I know I could skip Beyoncé and get a good spot for LN SPEAKING OF.... out of curiosity, who are you proposing as LN's and pre-HL? I'm just curious because I'm highly interested in this mock lineup
Whoever you want to be man haha I would pick all of my favorite bands for LN's just to make me happy.
Going realistic?
Friday --> LN Which: Bones Thugs-n-Harmony --> Bassnectar This: Some superjam --> Deltron 3030 That: Toro Y Moi --> Neko Case Other: Circa Survive --> Motorhead
Saturday --> LN Which: Lana Del Ray --> Girl Talk This: Julian Casablancas --> Sleigh Bells That: Some other superjam --> Some bad scheduling(Unchained) Other: Tyler, the Creator --> TNGHT
Pre Headlining: Friday --> The Weeknd Saturday --> Modest Mouse Sunday --> Beck
The Weeknd is still something people care about? I thought everyone with any semblance of taste more or less decided that the Weeknd is generally awful and abandoned him to the likes of CW show soundtracks and teens who like "edgy" music.

They dropped Reflektor last Fall and didn't really tour until January (Although they played a handful of small secret shows covering just Reflektor that fall). Wouldn't be crazy if they toured Reflektor for more than a year, but definitely don't expect a new album anytime soon.
As far as Fleet Foxes goes, crazier things have happened.
Revised wish list semi realistic....mostly a dream list
The Who, Daft Punk, Foo Fighters, My Morning Jacket, Earth Wind and Fire
Dave Chappelle's Block Party (Featuring Mos Def, Talib Kweli, The Roots, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, Common, Big Daddy Kane, Dead Prez, John Legend, A-Trak, Busta Rhymes, Cody Chesnutt, Lil Jon) I just love that idea so much. And I think it'd be the only probable way to get Dave Chapelle on the farm. Have him do some stand up and crowd interaction to start the show and then he hosts the rest.
Hip Hop stuff: Kid Cudi, Pharrell Williams, De La Soul, Odd Future (late night), Mac Miller, Action Bronson, Joey Badass(Pro Era), Black Hippy (Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, Jay Rock), Isaiah Rashad, J.Cole, Lil B BasedGod (late night Thursday set of pure fun and goofyness and positivity wooh!)
EDM sorta stuff (This is a little crazy probably): Bassnectar, DeadMau5, Fatboy Slim, Justice, Flying Lotus, Griz, Grimes, Shpongle (with band)....then since those would be huge edm acts playing not really stack on anymore edm artists
Some bands I'd like to see play: Pixies, Modest Mouse, Beck, Tears For Fears (dream Bonnaroo), My Bloody Valentine
some smaller cool bands I'd like to see: BADBADNOTGOOD, The Internet, Thundercat, Bad Rabbits

Looks good to me. You should throw Tame Impala in there somewhere.

I'd be happy with this for the most part but let's face it, Iron Maiden aren't getting booked and if they did show up on the lineup they wouldn't be in a tent
Big Grizmatik would definitely be in a tent. Put someone like Bassnectar in that spot.
See, I was thinking about that and that is EXACTLY what I was going to do but I guess I just give them too much credit. So I guess my answer is to put Bassnectar in Big Grizmatik's spot and move big Griz to Flume or Avalanches spot (avalanche if you wanna be realistic

That was my initial though, but debate in the Maiden thread persuaded me to believe they could be tent IF up against big competition. And I would certainly consider Kendrick (if his sophomore album is as big as his first), Grimes, and a Questlove/Claypool SJ to be major competitors.
The Black Keys - MMJ - Foster the People - Bassnectar - Snoop Dogg Flying Lotus - Spoon - The Replacements - The Roots - Kendrick Lamar - STS9 - Tame Impala Schoolboy Q - Jeff Tweedy - Gov't Mule - A-Trak - Method Man and Red Man - Flume - Earl Sweatshirt Run the Jewels - How to Dress Well - Parquet Courts - Jagwar Ma - Jamie xx - Unknown Mortal Orchestra Fuck Buttons - Mount Moriah - Ought - Ratking - Vic Mensa - Twin Peaks - Temples - Isaiah Rashad Jim James/?uestlove Superjam
Obviously room for so so much more, but this would be a wonderful start for me

Don't get me wrong, they throw Maiden in a LN Tent and that's where you will find me

If Bonnaroo somehow, miraculously got Iron Maiden and then put them in a tent, they would officially be the dumbest festival in the universe.
