Dunno why no one's thought of MIA yet -- not quite a headliner, but near there. And if she releases a great album, who knows?
Just thought of it because this week's episode of "Where the Press At" involves her going on at her Glastonbury set about how the BBC wouldn't broadcast it for political reasons. As they broadcast it.

She would probably jump to Which but she seems to have stalled out since her last appearance. That Tent was packed for her set, though. I think that at the time she announced that it was going to be her last US show. (I think her boyfriend/husband was having visa issues?) Obviously that wasn't as permanent as she made it sound...

She needs a late night set. That set in '08 was incredible, as was her set at Moogfest this year. A-game performer.
They also need to bring back Bjork (and her choir) and give her a late night slot.

I used to love Alicia Keys so much, but her music and voice have steadily declined in quality ever since her first two albums. It's been a steady downward trajectory since then; makes me sad.
She was pretty "meh" at Global Citizens Fest last year, but I still love her. I'd DEFINITELY see her at Bonnaroo for an early afternoon What set.
<3
e: btw, I still can't believe they had John Mayer, Alicia Keys, KoL, Stevie Wonder all for free. Global Citizens is amazing
If I Ain't Got You is one of my all-time favorite songs. Been really into You Don't Know My Name this year.

The Pretenders would be an amazing pre-hl'er, and I think Chrissie Hynde is such a force of nature that she cancels out the fact that the rest of them are dudes.
After the success of ‘What’s Up?,’ 4 Non Blondes went on to contribute songs to ’90s flicks like ‘Wayne’s World’ and ‘Airheads.’ However, in the midst of 4 Non Blondes recording their second studio album in 1995, the group disbanded. Frontwoman Linda Perry went on to pursue a solo career, which eventually led her towards a successful career in production and songwriting. Remember the infamous feud between Pink and Christina Aguilera back in the day? One thing that added fuel to the fire was that Pink felt betrayed that Perry decided to work in the studio with Xtina. Perry has also worked with artists like Gwen Stefani and Alicia Keys — but don’t expect her to work with Katy Perry any time soon, whose music Linda Perry referred to as “crap.” She is currently dating Sara Gilbert, who is known for portraying Darlene on ‘Roseanne.’ The remaining members of 4 Non Blondes have also continued to find happiness with music. Former guitarist Shauna Hall tours with funk band George Clinton and the Parliament Funkadelic, while fellow 4NB guitarist Roger Rocha also continues to tour and make music with his band the Goldenhearts. Despite their ’90s success, bassist Christa Hillhouse has settled into the 21st century comfortably, working as a graphic and web designer at her company CHILLHOUSEmedia. Sadly, the original drummer in 4 Non Blondes, Wanda Day, passed away in 1997 due to a drug overdose.

I really, really am out of the loop for Fleetwood Mac being big enough to be headliners. Not saying they can't....just saying I didn't realize they were that big.

I'm all for them headlining, but the thing that makes me think they might not headline Roo is that they tour pretty regularly. Granted, this is the first tour with McVie in a while. They've been to Albany at least twice in the last 3 years. I think them and Springsteen are the most frequent acts we get.
