I have to disagree. Only out of curiosity did I venture over to her set last year, and I walked right up to the rail 20 minutes after she took the stage.

Gaga
Adele

Madonna is big enough but I doubt they'd book her. Rhianna seems lower than headliner. Lorde isn't big enough yet. Even Adele is debatable in that slot IMO. But Beyonce and Gaga are top acts that would be headliners for sure.

I think the list of possibles is Beyoncé, Adele, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Rihanna. I don't see them booking Gaga or Rihanna, and I don't see Adele wanting to do a festival date, given that she doesn't really enjoy playing to big audiences due to anxiety issues.

Stevie Nicks solo wouldn't even pre-HL.

But why are we talking about this, artists like this "don't play real music/write their own songs/aren't what Bonnaroo is all about."

Not really "getting" Bjork at the time, all I know for sure was that I wanted to see more of it and I wanted it to be dark out. Beautifully weird and so interesting. I know a lot of folks can't connect with her. But she would have been much more riveting than Jack Johnson.
