Animal Collective 2013 Paul McCartney 2013 Jack White 2014 Beach House 2013 The Strokes 2011 Ice Cube 2014 Girl Talk 2011 Rock 'n Soul Dance Party Superjam 2013 Arcade Fire 2011 Tame Impala 2013
Some of my favorites that I've been to (2011-2014):
*Sleigh Bells - Roo '11 The Strokes - Roo '11 Wiz Khalifa - Roo '11 *GZA and Grupo Fantasmo - Roo '12 Art vs. Science, Surprise Show @ The Magic Fountain - Roo '12 SBTRKT - Roo '12 Radiohead - Roo '12 Paul McCartney - Roo '13 *Wild Nothing - Roo '13 Tame Impala - Roo '13 Real Estate - Roo '14 *Cut Copy - Roo '14 Danny Brown - Roo '14
Put asterisks next to my favorites of each year. #1 overall is probably that GZA show (I was pretty messed up by these are subjective ratings so...). Sleigh Bells was madness. Wild Nothing stands out to me because it went in between raining to sun showers to sunlight and it was just a beautiful show. Cut Copy was the best dance party I've had at Roo. I definitely missed some really good sets during my time, especially earlier on. As what I would now consider a "Roo veteran", I'm hoping I can manage my time the best this upcoming June.
Mmj , 04,08, Zappa plays Zappa ,08 , Raconteurs , 08 , Bob Dylan , 04 , Dave Matthes & friends , 04 , Kings of Leon , 04 , Robert Randolph & the family band , 04 , 08 , Florence & the machine , 11 , Buffalo Springfield , 11 , String Cheese Incident , 04 , 11 , Widespread Panic , 04 , 08 ,11 Metallica , 08 , Pearl Jam , 08 , BB King ,08 plus way to many to count . I've been to roo 3 times and I average 60-70 shows over the weekend . At 60 shows that comes to 240 and at 70 thats 280 . I thoroughly enjoyed them all from the ones I'd never heard of to the legends I've seen else where .
So sorry for the sloppy math havent slept in 48hrs due to 200mgs of steroids and 750mil of Chemo I should pass out after they take the bottle off tomorrow. Your math is correct.

Wait, was that your first MMJ show and were you in the pit?
Second (first was at Boston Calling in May) and yes I was in the pit
Ok, being in the pit explains it because I liked the show (what I saw of it) but I was pretty far back and I was so tired that I think I may have dozed off here and there. I was just wondering why is was so high on your list because I thought it was good, but nothing special. On the other hand, did you see all of Flying Lotus?

except for 4 & 5 I didn't even know this was a debated thing. I'm sure some Neil Young 03 arguments could be made but other than that... how has this gone 5 pages? This is a 5 post thread at best. Fuck people are posting shows in this thread that would be a tough sell for top 5 in their year...
