Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
if you come on here for news and rumors and stuff then why shut down the rumors you are getting? No one is giving up their source to the public even if its anonymously.
We didn't shoot it down, we used it in discussion for multiple pages. It just seemed a little odd when people seemed so offended that we didn't take it as 100% fact
I wasn't offended in the least. I don't really care whether people buy what I'm saying or not. I just found your reasoning to be a little asinine.

For sake of maybe getting back on track, as I have no lineup info, Here is what I put in last years thread as my after fest commentary:
New commentary:
I will most likely not attend this year due to the fact that I probably won't get full photo access and the lineup last year wasn't really my style and I don't see this years changing much in that regard. I would have enjoyed it a lot more if the music was more to my taste, so that is the biggest takeaway-make sure you like the lineup of a fest to have a good time.
original post with a slight edit:
My thoughts:
1. Portos were very clean, just think they should have more in some different spots so you don't have to travel as far from some stages. 2. Very easy in and out (there was confusion, not traffic) 3. Don't think I've seen so few vendors at a large fest before 4. Overall volume was to soft for Lumineers set (PA) 5. If you are at the front of line in at entrance closest to main stage do you really need to sprint to get to the rail for Foo Fighters (or anyone else for that matter) when a slow walk gets you there still well ahead of anyone else? 6. Dust sucks!! I barely used my camera as a result. 7. Playing Ping Pong in VIP during sets is awesome! 8. Sunscreen should be allowed in no matter what. I had to fight my case to get my spray bottle in 9. By far the smallest amount of corn I witnessed at any fest. 10. The hubs kicked ass! 11. Several rule changes regarding media access throughout (in their defense happens almost every fest) 12. Walk off the Earth Killed it!! 13. Never had an artist encourage me to get drunk before when I was trying to make the decision.
Shout out to all the fellow lot 18 people!!!
Fair observations. Props for being the first one to not talk about the bros.
One thing i wanted to mention in regards to the Goldenvoice partnership was I believe they indicated they would be working mostly on the overall experience and logistics vs booking of the artists. I believe some of the original articles said that booking was going to stay in house with Redfrog.
As far as the credibility of rumors here no one HAS to believe Launchpad etc. but he does have a track record of having some legitimate information. It's reasonable enough as well to expect the Killers would be rebooked this soon just because the first Firefly was about a 1/3 of the size of the past two so you're not repeating a headliner to the majority of your guests.
If we end up with Mccartney/The Killers/ KOL I'd be happy just because of Mccartney. I can't see it being Bruce because I don't see them going with 3 rock headliners. The wildcard would be Jay Z. Firefly does typically have a solid undercard though and gets a lot of under the radar acts right as they are blowing up.
I'm curious who they got for the top hip hop and EDM acts this year. I could see them getting Macklemore since they missed him 2 years ago when they had Kendrick though I'd obviously prefer Kendrick back. I think for EDM they'll go with one of either Avicii, Deadmau5, or Axwell^Ingrosso to top the list this year.
I think we'll see the scavenger hunt start within the next week with the lineup shortly thereafter.

i wouldn't mind having the killers back, kings of leon just does nothing for me. i saw them at global citizen fest, and left even less of a fan. also hoping it's not jay z, only because i've seen him twice in the past two years, and it wouldn't be too exciting for me personally. EDM, i'm assuming it'll be deadmau5, although we haven't had skrillex yet either. i guess it depends on who edc has booked. i'm assuming the late lineup release has to do with a contract of one of the headliners, but guess we'll find out!

I'm guessing it might be like Calvin Harris in 2013, who played Friday night then flew to Vegas for EDC. I think Skrillex may do the same. If not, I'm assuming we get Deadmau5.
Judging by DMB dates just released, I'd say that firefly gets them. Dammit.
So which one of Paul/Bruce, KOL, Killers does he replace?
Definitely Paul/Bruce. If it were either of them I'd do the whole weekend, but it looks like I'll only be there for whatever day MMJ plays if they're there.

DMB and KOL are both headliners if they are there. That said DMB doesn't fit the description of the 3rd headliner and they don't need a 2 week gap in there schedule to travel from Mass to Delaware and they certainly wouldn't follow it up with a 2 night stand in Camden, NJ. I think its just a general break in there touring schedule. As much as most people disagree Kings of Leon is a headliner no matter what way you look at it. They've headlined almost every major festival now.
I wouldnt count them at Firefly yet. DMB always has a 2 week gap in their schedule so they can return home to VA in the middle of the tour. Usually it goes Hampton VA > Bristow VA > 2 week break
This tour is weird this year though. Alot of cities they dont normally hit and alot of jumping around the US.

Totally true, But Arctic Monkeys headlined almost everywhere they were last year. Obviously this is all theoretical, but if I'm Firefly and I booked The Killers, Kings of Leon, and DMB, but then I had the opportunity to book Paul McCartney, sorry someone's getting bumped, and I don't think anyone would complain about being put before Paul McCartney. If DMB costs a Milllion bucks probably not them, but I really don't think the Killers and Kings of Leon would bitch and moan about opening for McCartney.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs headlined Coachella, but at Firefly they went on before Tom Petty. I know every situation is unique, and I don't know everything about festival economics, but I don't think its totally crazy. Would it be a massive get for Firefly? Yes. But when the past two years you've only had two 100% true headliners its possible they might have some extra cash around to put towards a crazy all-star lineup year.
Disclaimer: This is idealistic not necessarily realistic.

This is just my personal opinion, but I hope DMB isn't a headliner. They tour every year, so there's always multiple chances to see them. I feel like a headliner should "wow" you, DMB just doesn't do that for me. IMPO.
Firefly goer here. Wondering if anyone has heard any rumors of who is headlining Bonaroo.
Sounds like Billy Joel, Mumford and Sons, Kendrick Lamar, DeadMau5, Florence + the Machines, My Morning Jacket, Bassnectar, Robert Plant, were the big names confirmed so far
I think Firefly 2015 will be the big festival this year. They have to be withholding a good lineup. Not just McCartney-Bruce/Killers/KOL headliner group but lines 2 through 5 should be big and they probably have a bunch of up and coming bands too.
