I have two different friends showing up Thursday, one around noon and one later on. Any idea how they'd get up to the north Premiere camping if the shuttle isn't running then?
Edit: Nevermind; I figured out what they did. Whoever wrote the parking shuttle information (thanks a lot, Andrea Chapa) just copied and pasted from here:

Yeah, I don't think they explained that effectively. The Overnight Parking Shuttles will operate during all regular camping check-in hours and Monday until 1pm.
From the email yesterday these are the camping check in hours:
Seems crazy that people get annoyed at other people wearing band t-shirts to a show for that band. I don't understand how this bothers people haha
If it makes you happy, do it.
Agreed; why the hell is this an issue? Never knew people found this upsetting.... Very strange. Also I often listen to the music of an act I'm seeing that day, just a handful of tracks to get pumped, not a concerted three hour stretch of their music. But I also don't know why this would be considered problematic?
That said, I'm a 23 year old chick and it is summer so I'll likely just wear crop tops erry day haha, no band tees for me.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

Just wait till I show up with a crop top, that's when the REAL firefly party's gonna start

You guys may have just struck some confidence in me to wear my Awolnation shirt (I still can't do it on Friday). It's a wee bit aggressive I must say, it was from their 12/12/12 sale - it's a neon yellow/green tank with the AN symbol and just reads AWOLNATION underneath it (can't even find a picture of the damn thing). Maybe I'll make it a game-time decision...
Edit: aggressive in the sense that it comes off bro-esque, certainly not the look I'm going for.

I saw my fair share of men in dresses at Bonnaroo, so I thought why not? I call your bag be one of the ones I caravan, totally won't have anyyyyyy croptops missing I swear. But c'mon, you know you wanna make ME firefly

I could care less what anyone wears at a music festival. Seriously. The weirder the better really. Wear a prison jumpsuit. Dress up as the Monopoly Guy. Wear your fucking wedding dress. I don't care.

Yeah seriously - wear whatever the damn hell you please. I think wearing a band t-shirt (especially at a festival) will let others start talking to you if they're interested in that band too. Who cares if they're playing that day?
My festival attitude is definitely do whatever the hell you want as long as that doesn't impact someone elses ability to enjoy themselves too (don't get so f'd up your friends have to take care of you, don't barrel into the crowd for a better spot you didn't wait for, etc)
And as for the music - I have a firefly playlist with artists who are playing the fest and others who have previously - so yeah I'll hear some of the same songs played at my campsite before I head in for the day. I feel like it gets me (and my friends) excited for the bands we're about to go see live.

My plans to attend Firefly fell through - I had tickets and camping purchased but my friends needed to bag it, so I did too because I'm not doing my first camping fest alone. We sold all our stuff, made back most of our money.
And now I'm regretting it all.
Let me just say this - please enjoy every minute of Sir Paul. He's more than a Beatle. He is arguably the best musician of the 20th century and, 15 years in, is still killing in this century. He is a legendary live performer. The 3 hours will go by very quickly. He will play a wide variety of Beatles tunes, Wings stuff, solo stuff. You will (hopefully) get to hear "Helter Skelter" live and lose your shit.
I can't express how sad I am to be missing his performance. The rest is gravy.
Well, I have a lot of preparing to do and am leaving around 10 tomorrow morning, so I'm signing off until after the fest. Thanks to all of you for making waiting for the lineup, schedule, and everything else way easier as RedFrog continued to twist the knife in us. Safe travels everyone, enjoy the fest and I'll see everyone here Monday for some discussions.

I bet you aren't even attending Firefly - you've just set up to caravan in with me so that you can snag my bag full of crop tops and run away with them. I see right through you, Dimples.

Damn, wish you hadn't sold them and decided not to go!! Camping fests solo ain't too bad after all - as in, can be amazing from what I've heard.

Dude you already sold your stuff? My group originally thought we'd have a few more people but now we have three people (three tents) for 3 camp sites. One car. You could have just stayed with us.

anyone know how parking is done for premier camping, is it the earlier you are the closest you will be or is it like roo and they park the earliest people the furthest away?

Well I'm in general camping away from many of the people in here but no question... our absurd amount of unused space will be a happenin spot.

Few questions. Do they sell 18 packs of beer, liquor, food, Ice etc at the hub? How much do the showers cost and where are they located? If I show up Thursday at around 6pm how long should I expect to wait to get parked and get camp set up? Also how far will my walk be to the fest entrance?

Ah damn, yeah I doubt I'll make that walk at any point haha.
Is anyone going to the Flip Cup shit in premier? It will probably be filled with frat broz, but I do luv flip cup, so I might check it out anyway.
I'm just going to chill and meet my neighbors and if the game is around me I'll join but not going to hunt it down. I'm not planning on going that hard tomorrow. I'll certainly be drinking some brews but don't need a hangover day 1 of the fest. That said if the silent disco is open tomorrow night then all bets are off.

Buy before you go. There will be liquor sales but no bottles or to go. Once you're there they want you to pay for drinks #2. Showers are in each hub and $5 #3 in theory shouldn't be terrible at that point but no one can even guess where you'll end up camped. It'll definitely be a walk though

I definitely don't plan to go hard tomorrow either, though I think the flip cup thing is Thursday?

Last year they loaded front to back. The earlier you arrived, the closer you were. We got there around 4 PM, waited in line for maybe an hour, but still ended up like 6 or 7 rows back from the gate. That was sweet as hell with a less than 5 minute walk to the fest.

I'm taking a summer course and while most of my campsite is headed down at noon, my friend and I are heading down and parking via companion pass later in the day. Does anyone know where companion passes are supposed to go? There was no section for them in the directions on the website.
