Ah yes, that's not what I meant though. The venue, the Hard Rock, in Orlando might have seats in the balcony (idk, I've never been up there) but there are NO SEATS on the floor, it's a big, standing only pit. There aren't even seats further back from the stage, it's ALL standing on the floor level of the venue. Which I'm excited about because it is quite easy to get on the rail for shows there.
Stage AE in Pittsburgh is standing only as well. I was surprised/disappointed they decided to move this summer tour indoors. There is something to be said about being outside in the summer listening to good tunes.
Remember though, I'm in Florida, if they played Florida in August, it world make Bonnaroo feel like one of the "ice bars" where everything is made of ice. Our cooler days in the summer when we have a breeze would be perfect for an outdoor show, but the odds of that lining up perfectly with the MMJ show are quite slim. I'm severely jealous of northern/western states' summers because ours are great for a vacation but living in them is hell

Your last sentence is 100% truth! Love me a nice hot summer day at a show, then night falls and everything cools off. Perfect!
Just dropped $150 for two nights at the Fox. I got pretty close seats but I am not happy about the... seats. It's just not natural.
Yeah the seats thing is what counted me out. I do like the whole theatre tour they're doing though. I wanted to do Atlanta, but I've seen them 7 times all of them front row and didn't wanna mess it up. Oh well, I did score my ticket for Athens!!!
The general response to Big Decisions seems to be that people are excited for a new song but not in love with the song itself. I personally love it. I've been playing it to death. It's such a great straight-forward rock song.

Just got pit tickets for the New Orleans show. Might not be able to make it if Phish ends up playing Atlanta that weekend.
I'm happy the NOLA tickets aren't will call so I could feel free to buy one in case I'm able to go. Hopefully, I'll see you there!
For sure, seems crazy to drive to Atlanta to see a band i've seen dozens of times when MMJ is playing right down the road and I've only seen them a handful of times. But I chose to do this Phish thing 15 years ago and I can't stop until they do.

I posted this in the upcoming shows thread, but I got tix both nights in Columbus. 1st night I'm 2nd row in the pit! Super excited to be seeing my favorite band at least three times (hopefully more ) this summer!
Looks like I'm headed to DC next month, hoping for an usher/MMJ collab haha. Also got tickets to see them at governor's ball, merriweather post Pavillion and red rocks. I decided to splurge since I might have to work during Roo
I saw Umphrey's at the Tennessee Theatre recently and everyone was standing having a good time. I wouldn't see why MMJ would be any different. I got my tickets for that show and the two nights at the Fox. I cannot wait!!
Everybody's buying tickets for MMJ shows and I'm just sitting over here like "I guess I'll see them at Bonnaroo and Forecastle."
Have you ever seen mmj?
I have but ive never had a mindblowing show. I saw the first hour of the 2008 roo show but left because i really wanted to see the claypool gogol bordello superjam. Then i saw them in louisville but it was an arena show and i was far back. Really loved jim james solo show though. So my up close time this year will definitely be forecastle. Bonnaroo depends on conflicts. But i know they kill it live. Just always an outside factor for me. But 2015 will change that!
