-Dave Attell hasn't been since '07. A live "Comedy Underground" set on the farm would be awesome. -Flight of the Conchords would be super sweet. They were also on the farm in '07. -Jimmy Fallon FILM a Tonight Show episode FROM the farm. How cool would that be? -Stephen Colbert!! I saw him film one of his shows years ago and actually asked him if he had ever been to Bonnaroo, since he's a fan of music. At the time he hadn't heard much about Roo, but since has. This could be the year!!! -Workaholics, they haven't been to the farm since '11, and I've grown even more in love with their show! -Live "Getting Doug with High" show!! If you don't know the show, Doug Benson invites comedians (and sometimes musicians) to a small studio and gets baked with them. Episodes are on youtube. I think an episode at Bonnaroo would be amazing.
Chappelle, Louie Ck, obvs. My personal favorites are Nick Kroll, Burress, Mullaney, Jeselnik, Rory Scovel, Julian McCullough, Amy Schumer, Ansari, Eric andre. Rory is the only one who hasn't done the farm. I've been out of the comedy loop for a hot minute. Just getting back into it this year in nyc

Fallon doing a tonight show episode would be epic..he could have a slew of guests. I think we could see Tenacious D after their Grammy winning Metal album. Louis Ck is still the top of my Bonnaroo Bucketlist though for sure.
Yes! Would also be happy with Doug Stanhope, Joe Rogan, Ciuld deff see Ari Shaffir after him getting his CC show, Jim Jefferies but yeah no excuse not to have great comedy this year.
Ari Shaffir is associated with Joe Rogan's "DEATHSQUAD" and I wouldn't be surprised to see a few of those guys. Bobby Lee, Brody Stevens, Duncan Trussel, Tony Hinchcliffe, and yes, Tom Segura (among dozens of others). I don't know if anyone has seen "This is Not Happening" but it's a good show that has a format that would translate extremely well to the Farm. It's also on Comedy Central, which has done stuff with Roo in the past. I saw something on reddit about Big Jay Oakerson and Dan Soder being at Roo so that definitely supports the idea of a "This is Not Happening" thing going on. It would definitely bring a Comedy Central presence back to the farm.
If Mulaney or Segura are on the farm, I might have to see my second comedy act ever at Roo. I mean, I'd love to see Louis CK or Jimmy Fallon as much as the next guy (or gal). Yeah I said "gal". But that's unrealistic. Not because they couldn't be there. Because I'm not missing shows to see them if they are there. The only comedy act I've seen at Bonnaroo was Steven Wright. He. Was. Amazing.

I've never caught what I would describe a "big name" comedian at roo, the type that requires missing a lot of music. But I've seen some names that were big in my mind. Maria Bamford and Mike Birbiglia come to mind. Bamford in particular was a treat, I think she is just wonderful, and I loved that she is so weird that even a lot of bonnaroo people were scratching their heads in confusion afterwards.
But I'd definitely try for Mulaney or Segura. Mulaney could possibly require a little work, he's TV show was a huge failure but it seems to have strangely boosted his stand up popularity.
I'm such a Louis CK fan I might do stupid things to catch him. Depends on what music I'd have to miss.
I'm still a firm believer that if they do get a main headliner, like louis ck, that they should play an actual stage, where no one has to wait in line. yes, the comedy tent is exciting, but people would literally wait all day for that and what is the purpose of going to a music festival to wait in a line all day, just to a get a seat, ya know?
if they do have a headliner, like chappelle, or ck, or hell, even flight of the conchords again, i hope they'd do it outside...
Take this with a grain of salt, but I was listening to Opie and Jim Norton the other morning and they had Jim Florentine on. They were plugging their dates and Florentine said him and Jim Norton were playing a major festival, but couldn't announce it just yet. I know Norton was at Bonnaroo years ago, and Florentine would be a perfect fit with his music knowledge. Could totally see them being there.

Aziz is likely to be there and he's probably big enough to be on a stage, but the reason he's likely is because he's listed on the Comedy Theatre part of the app, which probably means he's in there. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he's outside, though

Pretty sure that was proven to be just a remnant from a previous year on the app.
You don't have to stand around all day to get spots in the Comedy Theater. People not knowing what to do actually helps those who go in early Thursday and ask what the weekend procedures are. I've never missed a comedian I've wanted to see since 2010 - Conan, Aziz ('10 & '12), Hannibal, etc - and have never waited more than an hour to receive a ticket.
The Kids In the Hall have announced a North Carolina show for May 12, and I heard a rumor that there's a larger US tour in the works. They'd work quite nicely as a comedy headliner.
His opening line on that older netflix special kills me everytime. Paraphrasing, something along the lines of "i'm thinkin of buyin a gun". The man has a gift.
My wife and I are always screaming at each other "get out of the pool!!". i think bill burr was the first stand up we watched together.

He's gotta be a top 5 comedian working right now. Every one of his standups is amazing. His podcast has some really good moments too.

ooh now we have to rank current working comedians:
1. Louis C.K. 2. Jim Gaffigan 3. Aziz Ansari 4. Sarah Silverman 5. Patton Oswalt
Would be my list off the top of my head. Criteria is a combination of popularity and quality of material, weighted towards recency of work and cultural impact. Only consideration is stand up work, not acting or anything else.
hate to leave Bill off, I honestly need to catch up on all his work, I think I've only seen a couple of specials.

Going off your criteria and leaning more on personal taste:
1. Louis C.K. 2. Kevin Hart 3. Bill Burr 4. Hannibal Buress 5. Jim Gaffigan
Definitely check out some more Bill Burr. I think all his specials are on Nexflix and he just put out a great hour and a half one.

A few more KitH dates are confirmed. Don't know if this will be the full tour but really hope not.
