Murph--- Last year we left at 9:30PM and made it into Manchester by 9:30AM. If you go get directions to Manchester through Google maps, you're solid. Those are the directions we used. I do have one tip. The last e-way you jump on will be I-24 E. While you can exit off I-24 and get into Roo through Bushy Branch Road, I suggest you jump off I-24 turn around and jump back onto I-24 W. My first year, we went in through BBR and we were in line for 5 hours plus we were camped way way WAAAAY out in BFE. Last year, we turned around and jumped back on I-24 W. to go through that entrance and we waited in line for 45 minutes plus we were camped right infront of Centeroo. So yeah, use the entrance off the expressway, you'll see the cars lined up.If you've got any questions or anything, my AIM name is in my profile. Feel free to hit me up; this'll be my 3rd Bonnaroo so I may be able to offer up more advice.
LizardKing- That would be pretty killer to have a mini keg of Oberon at Roo. I would be scared that they'd find and confiscate it in the search at the front gate though. That would suck.
I have yet to really be searched at Bonnaroo, they always ask me to open my cooler but they never have tossed my car...it always seems the people with dreadlocks get tossed(profiling but it seems to always happen). But I need Oberon at Bonnaroo so i might try to do that and who knows maybe ill get away with it...

Yeah I haven't really been messed with coming in either. Well I did get busted by the cops on the way down but that's a whole different story. Now you've got me thinking. Maybe I should invest in a mini keg of Oberon too. It sure would be nice to sip on some in that hot Tennessee sun. Hmm...

I've never been. I think I want to take a roadtrip around MI this summer to visit some of the breweries around the state. This is my first summer without a job since I was 16; I want to make the most of it! Too bad my friends are kinda lame so I most likely won't be takin the trip but whatever.
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain I like watchin' the puddles gather rain And all I can do is just pour some tea for two And speak my point of view But it's not sane, It's not sane
I just want some one to say to me I'll always be there when you wake
looks like im gonna miss my first hash bash in years. looks like enough snow up here to justify one last plow and salt trip. cant justify passing up that much money to go stand in the cold. id be there otherwise though. damn michigan weather!!! oh well ill appreciate the extra dollars come the end of summer. and the weather is gonna suck. hash bash is way more fun when its nice out. hope all who make it have a goodtime. groundscore is playing the monroe street fair after the high noon festivities. i havent seen them but i hear there are pretty good. so if you can bare the cold id wander over there to check ut the glas vendors and the music. it sad that hash bash has been reduced to one tiny street with 5 glass vendors. there used to be dozens.

Border Crossing. Ok for a new to United States person, it is the one thing I am worried about. Not worried about taking anything questionable over, but worried about being turned away. If that happens, I'll be hopping a plane that day. There is no way I'm missing Roo.
So if I'm crossing at Sarnia from Canada, I'm better to actually drive west to Flint before going south so I miss Detroit? That looks totally out of the way. Any tips people?
Also about the customs stuff. What goes on there. I hear they can turn you away for just looking strange. I am not going to the Roo in a business suit just to look the part!

There should be a few cars goin down with us in our caravan. I'm not sure how many or if there are any extra seats. I wish people would get their shi.t together!! Last year I went down with some randoms I met off Inforoo and I had a blast. This year we have some first timers off here that are following us down so once again it'll be a bunch of random people who don't know each other rockin' it all weekend. Sooo if anything opens up I'll definitely let ya know =)
