I'm coming from Petoskey MI, stopping in Detroit (too see folks in royal oak) then heading to roo.
This is my sixth roo....woo hooo.
I'm going VIP, and I have hotel Wed. night at Holiday Inn in (close to walmart) Manchester if anyone wants to meetup - and-or go to the coolest Bonnaroo pool party you've ever seen!
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain I like watchin' the puddles gather rain And all I can do is just pour some tea for two And speak my point of view But it's not sane, It's not sane
I just want some one to say to me I'll always be there when you wake
ah!! i grew up in lansing/e lanisng and i took every oppurtunity i could to get the hell out and head to AA. for me its kinda like the comparison between coachella and roo. i could have went to kid rock/ drinking parties in el or i could eat chocolates and go see rocky horror picture show at top of the park and go to a house party with a closet turned into a party favor vendor in AA. complete with a whiteborad "menu' with prices. or go get crazy with friends at the nectarine (on the right night) damn i love AA! in el the cops would harrass us for smoking cloves. ive on been harrased by cops once in AA and it was because my friend was climbing the huge clock and the rest of us were swimming in the fountain. and even then they just sent us on our way.

Ha! I'm coming from Michigan, but I'm a MSU boy! Go Roo!
I went to Western, Wife and brother both graduated U of M , But my good friends Dad played football for MSU and was then drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers (but didn't go) but he took me to a $hitload of games as a MSU season ticket holder. So people can't take it that I'm a fan of both. The flag above is from last years ROO and we had 2 michigan grads at our camp so it seemed appropriate. Go Roo!
i do root for msu. aslong as they arent playiing michigan or notre dame. i dont hate them. my hatred for the bucks uses it all up and theirs none left for the spartans ;D

i will be going near there. my sister has decided to meet us near roo instead of flying up from florida and riding with us so ive got an extra spot. we are gonna be pretty tight on space. ive got 3 friends going from toledo. i may be picking up another inforooer in AA but it will all fit!! i think im gonna get a roof top thing for more space. its a big van so im sure we can make it work. we will be leaving on wednesday morning and getting a couple of hotel rooms near roo to meet up with others, should be about 20 all together if everyone actually goes. there will be lots of people snuk in and sleeping on the floor so dont worry about having to get a room unless you would like to. and then we will be getting to roo around 7am on thursday. and we wont leave until monday morning. so back home in the early evening on monday. so if wed- mon works for you let me know and ill hold ya a spot.

Yeah I would be saying A2 is cool if they would have accepted me, those bastards. I'm not bitter about not getting into U-M though (if only I could express sarcasm on the computer)

Haha yea U-M is no f*cking around. Thats why I go to Washtenaw
We are currently living in Southfield, which is close to some of ya. Going to bonnaroo for the first time, with my wife and a couple buddies. We're pretty excited.
sorry we will be heading out monday morning. have you thought about greyhound? im sure the clean vibes people would be able to help you with getting to a bus station if they dont have some sort of an offical plan for that already.
I was thinking about that... but I dont know yet... I suppose we could bum rides down and take a bus back up. I feel like that might get pricey though... Im off to go look!
<EDIT> Its quoting me at $94 a ticket for one way from manchester to ann arbor, with two transfers. It would be 15 hours.
I feel like, after the free ticket Id be getting, I woulnt be saving enough money to justify a 15 hour greyhound ride. UGH!
Thats true, but at the same time, they only feed you on work days, so thats not during the fest. So, Id still be buying food, which is okay, I like roo food.
I'm from Grand Rapids (eastown), and I got to U of M. This'll be my second year going. Last year I went with my family/girlfriend/friend. This year I bought 3 tickets, one for me, my girlfriend, and one for an as-of-yet undetermined person (possibly my sister or another friend). A few friends of mine already have tickets, but so far nobody has a plan for a ride down.... and none of us have licenses. Not really asking for a ride though, I'm pretty sure we'll work out something. I know a few other kids from U-M going too.

I'm from Port Huron, and this will be my second Roo. We had a hell of a time getting down there, but I met probably 40-50 people from Michigan while there, and on the way down there was a car full of some kids from Central that were stuck in traffic in Cincinnati next to us. We sparked one and passed it between cars, it rocked.

Oh man. After what happened to me and my crew on the way down to Roo 05', I will never EVER be careless with that sort of thing again. We were thisclose to missing the festival over a few "cigarettes."
Anyway, us MI kids should try to hook up for a caravan. I know it's kind of hard to put together, but it'd be pretty fun =)
