Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

I need to start saving for my winter/spring festival ticket buying now! Every year, I have mandatory overtime in January and February which I am a-ok with because I am hourly and get a few thousand extra bucks! Extra money in, money out. I don't even notice it. This year... NO OVERTIME. I am already all anxious and crazy about how this will affect me. I REALLY should be picking up extra shifts at Cheese soon... at least I have that option. Just to make myself do it...

You + Me (new duo w/ City and Colour and P!nk, Newport and I had a twitter convo about them)
Woah. Really? That didn't fully click until I searched for them on Spotify and saw P!nk and Dallas Green looking like they're about to go to a barn party with Mumfords and Lumineers.
Thanks for the head's up! What did your conversation with NFF look like? Good to hear that they may be on NFF's radar thanks to you!

I sent Newport a link to the one song they've put out and they said they liked it and asked if there's an album coming out, which there is.
Shakey Graves (with a new album coming out in October, he's due to get the repeat treatment at well) The Wind and the Wave (new album; bound to get popular very quickly) Bahamas Roadkill Ghost Choir The Districts (remind me of a grungier Dawes)
I want to add all of these to my list. The couple new Shakey Graves songs he's put out sound phenomenal. Really looking forward to that album. I saw The Wind and the Wave open for Jamestown Revival back in June. They were awesome and great stage banter. Bahamas and RGC are both awesome. The Districts are one of the best new live bands I've seen in the last year and I would love to see them tear apart the Fort.

The first three songs I've heard from the album (2 studio cuts and 1 live outtake) all sound absolutely incredible. I have already prepared a spot at the top of my "Best Albums of 2014" list for it. I've always thought that he was missing the right producer and recording studio on previous releases (hence why everyone talks about his live videos as opposed to his studio tracks), which he seems to have found with the new album.

i think my top 5 hopefuls are you+me first aid kit carolina chocolate drops mike ness i'm not sure which legacy act to pick but i'm leaning towards bonnie raitt
So I am strangely in love with both folk and dance (EDM) music. Maybe that's why I enjoy live bluegrass so much. Chet Faker sings a lot for Flume, and I've been in love ever since I discovered their joint work. (On that note, I would love if NFF nabbed an EDM act for an afterparty so I can get my folk and my groove on). I'll need to listen to George Ezra!
Also, you were right about Milky Chance. While I think they're more alt-j than they are folk now that they've released more stuff, they're starting to blow up!

I'm thinking John McCauley's appearance next year will be with Diamond Rugs. I've heard that they're working on a new album due out late winter/early spring.

With Father John Misty's album announcement, do you guys think he'll be back? This was my first year so I didn't see him in 2013, but from what I've heard it was a relatively polarizing set. Any thoughts?
Also, I met Hozier the other day and asked if he was planning on returning next year. He said hopefully.
Umm... I've had no time for Inforoo of late.. but... um.. " I met Hozier the other day' ????? I'm Irish to the core and have a saying.. never met a potato that i didn't like. Unless you spill trooper this might change.
