I'm wondering if there's still a possibility that Beirut may be there. They have a new album coming out in September and are doing some shows this summer. Really, really love them!

I would looooove to see Beirut there! Saw them at Toronto Urban Roots Festival last year and they were amazing!
Got my deer tick tickets! Going to 4 after shows! Thurs: Watkins, Friday: Deer Tick, Saturday: Heartbreaker, Sunday: Deer Tick. A weekend of pure heaven!

I am doing the same except no Watkins, and Pickens before Deer Tick on Friday.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

I finished reading uncanny avengers last night and there was a bonus comic at the end portraying the avengers in a reality tv show and this made me laugh out loud.
Was just looking at the NFF tickets on TicketMaster, and noticed this list in the details:

It has left out the confirmed headliners, but there's quite a few names on there that haven't been announced.

All of these names have been announced.. Are you talking about the headliners not being in the list?
I've been trying to be good and not go to so many shows this summer, but it's not been going so well with all these good announcements.
Not sure where you're located, but TBT are also playing a free show in Portsmouth, NH the day before
15 minutes outside Providence. $20 for a show isn't so much the issue, it's the fact I got late July and August pretty stacked up, or potentially.
July 24-26: NFF July 28: Bombino, Northampton Iron Horse July 30: Trampled, Prov August 7: Deftones/Incubus/DFA1979, Great Woods August 14: Bruce Hornsby, Lowell Boarding House Park August 23: Buddy Guy, Indian Ranch
The bolded stuff are stuff I already got tickets to, the regular are shows I'm considering
Mumford and Sons won't play. We have our three headliners and no way would they be anything else. And I'm sure they want to distance themselves a bit from the folk thing. I could see Marcus coming in for '65 Revisited, but that's about it, and that wouldn't be announced if it's happening
