Since we're just gettin all crazy up in here, I'd just like to point out that Modest Mouse and Gene Ween will be in Boston on Thursday night. They are off on Friday too.
Motherquacker. Wish I was going to that. But, alas, this being my 20th year on this Earth places me below the established age limits for the after shows. Next year I'll be all about that shit.

I feel ya dude. The first two years I went to Newport I was too young to go to the bars (damn your high drinking age in America!). Driving past my favourite band every night at the Blues Cafe was killer. When I finally got to go to one of the Deer Tick shows last year, I made sure to get drunk as shit in protest. Annnnd then my body protested the next day...

This just in: Got tickets to see David Gilmour in March! You know... just in case he doesn't show up with Roger next week...
I heavily considered picking up tickets for the MSG show, but they were just too expensive and I'm buying tickets for two MMJ shows and a Tame Impala show today, so I'll have to forego Mr. Gilmour for now.

Yeah, I paid $85 for nosebleeds. Probably the only chance I'll have to see him though, and each ticket comes with a copy of the new album (so really it's like $75 for the ticket). I was mainly able to justify it because I got paid last night hahaha.
Just thought I'd mention the map and schedule are now up on the website. The difference on Friday's schedule online vs the app it says "starts at 5:30 unannounced and ending 7:30PM Roger Waters" www.newportfolk.org/doc/NFF2015-Schedule.pdf
Also- for anyone who's parked onsite before what should I expect for traffic after the show? I know I'll end up sitting for a while just trying to get an idea of just how bad it is.

At least a half hour without budging to get out of the fort. After that it moves slow but steady to get through Newport.
So I didn't think this was a possibility but I may come over for Friday (Stay Thursday night, leave Saturday morning). Hard to pass up a chance to see Roger Waters and the rest of the Friday lineup is solid. Looks like I can pick up a Friday ticket (s) for under $100 on Stubhub. Hotel wise, Rheas in Middletown is like a 20 minute drive away and reasonable. I cant see paying $1000 for two nights to be closer. Any suggestions for a NFF newbie?

It's generally cheaper if you go over to the mainland.
