I'll be buying a 3 day or a 2 day + Friday shortly. I wanted to wait for the Bonnaroo lineup to drop because I was considering making my 1 festival stop this summer Bonnaroo again. But the headliners don't do enough for me (and my friends who were on the fence don't seem as interested after I told them the leak).
Can you point us to the leak??

So I noticed that Streets of Laredo and Ol' Savannah both liked NFF's new Facebook profile picture. I could definitely see both being there!
Could definitely see Streets of Laredo there. I saw them open for Delta Spirit a couple months ago, good music although their performance was a little unexciting. I'll have to check out Ol' Savannah
I met Tim from SoO a few months back after a show. I asked about Bonnaroo, which he confirmed, but I forgot to ask about Newport. He said they'd be hitting up "almost every festival" this year. He also mentioned they would be playing Osheaga in Montreal (the weekend after NFF).

Delta Spirit are far past their folky roots but I think they'd still be welcomed back to the Fort and I'd love to see them there. They aren't on the road in the Spring but I imagine they'll hit up some fests.

Yeah, I completely agree with you. As much as I absolutely love their new album, it's pretty far from their first two albums. They're a part of the family though, so I could still see it. I also drunkenly asked NFF to bring em around this year after seeing them in October, so hopefully that counts for something!

The year MMJ headlined we had seen an article just before they were announced asking permission to increase sales from 10k to either 12.5 or 15. Town of Newport resoundingly said NO.
I guess I can go back to hoping that Mumford decides to take a pay cut and approaches Newport to play for music's sake. Maybe Jim and Taylor convinced Marcus while in the studio?
