I said the same thing after Peach. Gregg said "See you next year". Either he hasnt given up hope or he intends to continue just as Gregg Allman Band or he's just really old and forgot he wont see us again next year.

Maybe there is a chance that Gregg, Mule, and Tedeschi Trucks all still play these fests and do an ABB show and are just finished touring behind the project.

^^I think thats probably most realistic. Gregg had said they were done. Butch said it wasnt really his call. I dont think they continue touring as ABB without Warren and Derek.
Good article, it pretty much explains the situation. On another note I'm looking forward to the DVD release of the Gov't Mule Pink Floyd Halloween show. I flew up to Boston for that one.

DP: I should also mention that it's only a slim chance that I'll be able to go this year. I'm doing Coachella (weekend 1) and this is the week after. So unless I decide to go balls to wall and do both or if for some reason Coachella falls through, I may not be in Oompaland. However, I will make some decorations and such either way.

Bonz, just stopping in here to remind you that you started this thread and therefor you must attend! I say this because I heard it read a rumor you would possibly be at Coach?! WTF?!

Yeah if all goes to plan- and I don't foresee it changing- I will be doing Coachella this year. That being said, it doesn't rule out Wanee. It just makes it more unlikely. Depends on how money and vaca days are going. The worst part of it all is that I usually make a couple extra thousand dollars in January and February which buys a lot of festival and plane tickets... but we won't have the over-time this year, so that's essentially a pay cut. I need to make myself work extra at Cheese to make up some of the $$. I was thinking about cutting Mountain Jam out of the mix next year, but I just bought a presale VIP ticket a few minutes ago. Oops.
