I think the word "experience" means "Not bands".
It's been said by those that work for and promote Counterpoint that band additions will be included.

Despite the rumors, we are happy to report that CounterPoint Music Festival will not be cancelled and will take place over Memorial Day Weekend (May 22-24, 2015) as scheduled.
But that’s not all, we still have plenty more exciting additions to the ?#?CP15? experience (including additional talent!) so stay tuned, grab your friends, and meet us at Kingston Downs for the party of the spring!
Wow...glad I missed all that drama this weekend. Looks like despite low ticket sales, they're not going to cancel which is just fine with me! More room for all of us that do go to boogie! Also, looks like Silent Disco artist lineup is coming out Wednesday. For those that have gone to Counterpoint before, is the Silent Disco similar to Bonnaroo's?
Rumor going around, supported by a screen shot of an email to a vendor, that the fest is cancelled. Counterpoint has refuted this on their facebook.
Old news...all of this came out last weekend and Counterpoint has made an official statement that it is not canceled. I think there was talk of canceling it at one point, but they then decided to have it regardless.
I know all the EDM kids are blaming the lineup for low ticket sales, but I think it has a lot to do with them moving it to Memorial Day weekend. Most people travel with family on this holiday, plus there's about 5 other festivals happening that same weekend. This will be my 1st time at Counterpoint because I loved the lineup and appreciate them branching out and adding some jam/funk to the lineup...really hope this isn't the last one of its kind though.

Yes! I went last year and I really really really wanted to go this year, but I will be attending Sunset because it's closer, easier, comparable lineup, etc. If CP was in April again (and it was perfect!), I would get the presale like last year and be there in a heartbeat.
I'm more into the jambands so I don't have too many conflicts! Main ones are What So Not and RL Grime during Panic (my favorite band so not missing them for anything!) and EOTO & Minnesota clashing during Lettuce. Other than that it worked out well in my favor.
Really hoping they open the gates earlier than 2:00 because getting in and set up before G Jones set at 5:00 is going to be impossible! I saw him open up for Bassnectar this past NYE and really want to see him again!
Got a clip from the galactic set and the comment that it was pretty fire. E's day is Emancipator, GRiZ, end of Rebelution, Thomas Jack, What so not, RL Grime, wsmfp and papadosio. Pretty solid day.
