Anyone know what happened with the end of the JRAD set? Joe Russo posted something on their Facebook page ripping Counterpoint for not being about the music and saying they got pulled three minutes early or something to that effect. I shared the post last night but it was gone this morning when I woke up. He was PISSED.

E said he wasn't sure. Knife Party was sucking (though he heard they were much better toward the end) and went and saw most of JRAD. He said it went til about 1 so maybe he wasn't allowed an encore? He said it was a bad ass set anyway. He told me Tipper was his favorite set overall, but Papadosio was probably the best set saturday. Mentioned Ott, Umphreys, Michal Menert, Tauk, Lettuce, GRiZ, Eoto and Zeds Dead as noteworthy for him.
I was 3rd row at JRAD and the guys on the side of the stage told them to stop playing, they continued, and then they pulled the plug. Must have been keeping to the 1:00 encore. Funny thing was they kept trying to play and the crowd started singing along...it was a great show!
As far as the line to get in - I can't believe ppl had a bad experience. We got in line a little after 10 AM (when they opened gates), and no joke - total process of getting in line, search, and getting to our campsite took less than 1 hour. I heard rumors that a girl flipped her car on the 1-lane road in which I bet is what slowed things down. We were about a 3 minute walk to the search point to get in, less than 1 minute to bathrooms...couldn't have asked for a better setup!
All the shows I saw were great and I only heard sound bleed through during Zedd/Umphrey's but we were on the hill near the sign. Had no issues whatsoever all weekend. Met some great people and saw some great music. Things they definitely need to improve on though for next year are more than 1 water station (shit was crowded ALL DAY), more shade structures, and better quality food. Other than that, we had a blast!!
