I also love the Metro. not sure who/what is there but that is one of my favorite venues
Metro is cool. Their security can be jerks sometimes and unfortunately they're cash only and don't allow re-entry. The venue itself is great though, intimate setting and great sound quality. They also consistently book great afters every year (and great shows all year round).

What are you guys doing Thursday? There's a lot I want to see that night. Friday I'm way more like whatever.
I want to see basically every show on Thursday night. My plans are kinda dictated by my cousin at this point though. She isn't sure if she'll be moved out by Lolla weekend or not. If she IS still there I'll be going to a show Thursday and Friday for sure. If she ISN'T still living there, then I'm staying with Gretch & Bri Thursday night in the burbs.

Question for Chicago natives, I'm going to Aragon for Alesso Saturday night but have to catch a flight at O'Hare around 6 AM. What is the easiest/cheapest way to get there? Do trains run that late?
The Red line (right next to the Aragon) runs all night. So does the Blue Line that goes to O'Hare. You could take the Redline downtown after the show and hop on the Blue line from there. Keep your wits about you though, the CTA can be a little seedy that late. And Uber would be a little easier (and safer), but will cost you about $20 instead of $2.50.

For sure. I am making a solo day adventure out of this (flying in Saturday morning and out Sunday morning), so I won't be doing much more than an occasional beer every few hours, the last thing I need is to be stumbling through unfamiliar grounds. Thanks for the info.

From up there you should probably take the Lawrence bus to the Blue line station at Jefferson Park and then hop on the train to Ohare. Save you about an hour.
Pilots will be fine but I don't need to see them twice in one day. The amount they've blown up (esp in the Chicago market) should bode for a pretty big crowd for that time of day on the main stage.
Got Brand New somehow (which it seems was next to impossible) and Alesso. Was waiting to see the Firefly schedule to see if I'd miss Kygo there due to a conflict (which of course there was) and by time I went back to buy his Lolla aftershow it was sold out.
But pretty happy nonetheless

I've bought off Craigslist multiple times and never had a problem. As long as long as you pay with PayPal and within a 30 day window your transaction is guaranteed. I know people who have been scammed but I try to find people who can't go last minute. There are always people selling outside the gates, but exchanging cash seems more of a risk than Craigslist or PayPal. As long as you're smart about it you'll find something.

If you wait a few more weeks until tickets ship, prices on Craigslist will come down a fair amount. Usually it's no problem to get Friday tickets for close to face.
