I will be there, for sure. Had a great time last year camping with Monie! There were all night sing alongs...bear suits...and some other things I am sure I am forgetting. It really is a great little festival.

I think I can only make it Friday night through Saturday night. Would it be possible for me to buy 2 days passes and camp both nights?
Definitely, but you would have to still buy the $25 per person camping passes. Regarding day passes, you'd actually be way better off just buying the full 4 day pass now because day tickets for Friday+Saturday would be more expensive.
EDIT: If it helps anyone, St. Vincent will be playing (headlining?) on Saturday 5/30: ilovestvincent.com/#tour Also, it looks like Merle Haggard might be playing Sunday 5/31 because he's in Indiana on 5/30 and in Pennsylvania on 6/1: merlehaggard.com/tour-dates/

And Trampled By Turtles is scheduled for Thurs 5/28, which means we're getting another headliner.
The past few years have seen Dinosaur Jr, Cat Power, and Iron & Wine headline on Friday, so I'd expect an act around that size to headline next year. If anyone else is curious about past day schedules setlist.fm has a lot of the artists for the past few years listed by day.
Small festies are in my wheelhouse and this looks very NFFish. Experienced folks... what time does it all start on thursday?
My recollections from the last two years are the music doesn't start until around 4 pm Thursday afternoon, with the headliners going on around 10ish. I tried to get there not long after gates opened this year to get a nice camping spot.
fawnmart just pulled the trigger on this and I can't thank the LOML enough! <3 <3 <3
Awesome! So happy to be lucky enough to get to spend two (One Big Holiday) festivals with you guys! Nelsonville is REALLY Newportish as far as a family or all ages laid back kind of vibe. Always a blast. The camping is great, not packed in like sardines and you are allowed fires. Looking forward to it!

It is very kid friendly, the footprint in very small with just two stages (three if you count a tiny cabin some acoustic shows are in) plenty of shade if you are looking for or need it. Not a long walk to the camping area either.

I agree on the kid-friendly comment. Nelsonville is about as far as you can get from an All Good-type rage fest. One of the things that always has stood out to me is the number of families that come to Nelsonville. I had two buddies last year who brought their kids, and they said they all had a great time.
Sounds like the 2nd round of lineup announcements will be coming tomorrow or Monday. I'm really hoping for MMJ, Father John Misty, or Built to Spill to be added.
I'm officially out for this. I decided to start my vacation right before roo so I have more space between Shaky Knees and Bonnaroo. Priorities.
I don't remember if they do day passes or not. But if they do, I may go just Thurs/Friday. Maybe Saturday if I can get the day off (I prob won't) if that's when St. Vincent is paying. Def won't be able to do do Sunday though.
Sarah Neufeld (Arcade Fire violinist) is looking very likely to join the lineup. She's opening for St. Vincent on her last US run and in particular is opening for her both the day before and the day after St. Vincent appears at Nelsonville.

They do sell day passes, but unfortunately St. Vincent is playing Saturday. I hope it works out so that you can still go!

EDIT: Nelsonville also updated their site to say which days the headliners would be performing (which we already basically knew): Thursday: Trampled by Turtles Friday: The Flaming Lips Saturday: St. Vincent Sunday: Merle Haggard
I apparently need to do some researching on Oblivians. ...
start with this:
I saw them at The Summit in Columbus in 2009 or 2010, and they killed. It was a triple bill with Cheater Slicks and Dex Romweber Duo. That was the same day I saw New Bomb Turks, Scrawl and Gibson Brothers at a street fest in the Short North. That was a hell of a day.
