You won't regret it except that you didn't get vip. It's one of the few festivals that can adjust your general outlook on shit. That sounds like some hippie bullshit but you'll be surprised. Guy trip also allows you to trainwreck it tand go full for 18 hours. Don't sleep on some of the shit you can hook up with for early in the days like hiking up to the waterfall and jumping off that and white water rafting or kayaking on the adjacent Buffalo River. Just in case the weather is decent, I'll email them a couple weeks out and get contact info and post it. I'm pretty sure that you schedule a time in a couple hour block, and they run you up to launch and shuttle you back to the fest after. They also have ATV runs if you like to go 4 wheeling. Last year I think it was Byrd's Adventure Center, and they have Waka on the calendar so it's proobably still them.
How late can I go vip? Ne215......if I stumble upon an extra grand from now until june.....you can pay me back by the time im married.

I thought about doing a three day vip for 500$ but my bros dont ball as hard as I so they only want to do GA. I'll be cool with 4 day GA though. We plan on coming in Wednesday night! What are the better camp grounds?
Fuck, 4 weeks I'll be one night in the tent into the festival. Thursday, Friday and Sunday have the best runs of shows for me in succession from late afternoon to wee hours. I don't have anything approaching any of those days at Hangout or Bonnaroo on schedules released so far, though I understand that Bonnaroo is doing some schedule tweaks.

You'll handle it. It's rough because it's a longer festival than most others, and it goes until 6am. Guaranteed none of us make it to 6am Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday AM though. No chance of that even with all the coffees and red bulls I might drink to try.

I think since a lot of people don't go to both Bonnaroo and Wakarusa because it's the week after, you don't get that much play on it. I don't care, because I think it blows most of the other festivals out of the water for what I like. It's still not too late to get VIP. I got this letter today from them:

VIP ticket holders can enter the festival grounds at 4 pm on Wednesday, June 3rd. Upon arrival, please follow the VIP parking director’s instructions as they guide you into your home for the weekend. Will food be served on Wednesday night?
Although there will not be a catered meal on Wednesday night, we will be hosting a short mixer from 5:30-7:30 pm. The beer is on us, so bring your favorite appetizer to share with your fellow VIPers while you trade stories and become acquainted prior to the weekend’s fun! The Wednesday night mixer is a popular VIP exclusive event, with many folks saying that they met life-long friends to enjoy the festival with.

There is actually some costume shit they do. Last year Thursday was rep your state, but we have been kind of looking to secede so we just went ahead and threw it up for the 504 rather than the rest of this hell state/south.
