Ummm...am I missing something? Could you imagine if Roo had a headliner repeat in 2 consecutive years like Bassnectar? I don't really see anything rare in this lineup at all. Pretty sure you can see most of these acts at smaller regional fests throughout the US.

it's not that there's anything rare, just a lot of people i personally like or haven't seen. adimttidley i like trap and some of the mainstream stuff but whatever. i'm glad i'm doing this over roo this year is all

Dude this fest has pretty much the exact same blend of crap every year - trap, wookietronica, a couple pretty okay DJs that get exalted above the rest simply because they aren't complete shit, "deep house," Bassnectar, probably Pretty Lights, and then inexplicably like 10 sets from String Cheese. They're not trying to reinvent the wheel here, they just want to give the dreadlocks-and-molly set a nice soundtrack to stumble around the forest to.
I'll never understand how/why people like this festival.
I'll never understand how people have so much free time on their hands that they have to go try and ruin other people's fun. Go away.
If someone stating their personal opinion on an online forum (a rather tame one for that matter), is ruining your fun, then I might suggest you log off the internet and never leave your house. The world is clearly too savage for your fragile mind.
Looking for 2 tix if anyone knows of anyone selling. I'm scouring CashorTrade, Facebook, and Reddit. No one selling yet. Preferably VIP but will take GA as we just want to go to our 1st EF. We went when it was Rothbury but haven't been back since!
Right. If you're of the type of mind where huffing a few balloons right before Griz takes the stage is your idea of paradise, this is the festival for you. They will provide the perfect soundtrack for that kind of thing.

I'm not hating, I'm admiring the fact that they've identified a target audience and are sticking to it. Big womp womps and deedle-dee-dees, have a blast.
You've got to be getting bored with trolling this festival by now. How many years has it been, now? Definitely all 5 years of Electric Forest. And we're you one of the Rothbury haters, too? I just can't quite remember. And you still haven't found any new material? You're losing your edge, dude.

Definitely plenty of stuff I'm excited for so far and a whole lot I'm not familiar with. Anytime I can get multiple nights/sets of cheese is going to make me happy! Getting really excited for my first trip to the forest!
This lineup is super boring aside from maybe a dozen artists. Can't believe Major Lazer is in the top 3. Also, as much as I like Bassnectar, it's pretty lame to book him two years in a row. Isn't a whole lot here that stands out but the crowd this fest attracts will eat it up.
Nothing to write home about with this lineup... I've seen pretty much almost every top tier artist on this lineup... with quite a few I wouldn't care to see again.. glad I'm still sticking with Bonnaroo!!

Yeah, the more I look at it the more dissapointed I am. I can't believe they wasted another top billing on Bassnectar. It makes me cringe to know we have to deal with waves of bassheads storming through ranch. I'm assuming they are missing a headliner but any lineup that has Floss near the top is meh.
