Yeah, I mean I don't mind it, because these mocks mean nothing at all, but I feel like some of the acts on Zen's mock make a lot of sense. Seven repeats in the top four lines might be a stretch, but I'd love to see Tycho on the beach.
Maybe I'll try one soon so I'm not just pointing the finger and then you all can clown me too.
What I would point out is Tame is 8th on the poster, and I haven't seen them higher than 7th on any other bill this year, other than Levitation, where they were 2nd (that's also a smaller fest than Hangout). So, until we see them creep into the top 4-5 of some of these other fests, and it could be as early as next year, I think these mocks are pretty right for what we know for sure right now.

Obviously it depends on how you look at it since the poster is listed by day, but Tame Impala was listed either 4, 5 or 6 on the Coachella lineup, or #2 behind only AC/DC on Friday. That's a pretty high billing for a major festival and ahead of names like Interpol and Alabama Shakes. I'm not sure they would be a true headliner for Hangout, but at a minimum I think they would fall into the 4-6 spots on the lineup.

Last night some rich asshole got the Stones to play at the Belly Up (a smallish venue) for his wife's birthday. Radio station saying it cost him upwards of $2.5 mil. Use that for reference when we are trying g to figure out how much some of these old rockers cost?

Private shows should be more than an actual ticketed show, no? Buyer is paying a premium to have the exclusiveness of the band playing for just them.
I would assume the price would be somewhere around $1.5mm for a ticketed show or headline a major festival.

Well, there's 4 of them so...Bowie or Elton would only be $625k...?

So...I am not a member of such standing as can create a reasonable thread simply titled...."Hangout 2016". Anybody reading this able to do that for us Hangout folks? Much appreciated. I noticed that since "Hangout 2015" is done...stick a fork in it, and Hangout '16 blur whatever is hard to keep up with, that Hangout page has fallen off the list pretty much. Had a pass for Bonnaroo offered to me but, turned it down. You Roo fans have fun....I checked my festival box for this year and got family/personal things to take care of. If we can't get a "Hangout 2016", will probably move back to the original Hangout Boogie Board if it still works.
this is OFFICIAL 2016 Hangout thread! the OP can just edit the title whenever, its changed like 5 times since its been created. We have very little to talk about so its gonna be hard to keep it from fading for a while.
Here is how it works. The title will change, depending on the way the thread goes. And the Hangout thread always goes off course, not matter what you name it.

We only need one of these things, believe me.
Exactly. "Hangout 2016" is easy to google, helps us stay on topic, some ownership and helps those who are new and want to find some help regards the next Hangout. Just trying to help out and play well with others. If you are the "Queen of Threads", please consider it a kindly recommendation and if it doesn't pass the Inforoo test of the Inforoo Gods...ok with that too. Cheers!
P.S. Inforoo is one of the most informative, interesting and helpful websites I visit...appreciate everyone who makes it happen!

The time has come for coats and overcoats. We're quiet on the ride, we're all just waiting to get home.
Yes my friend...time for water skiing, grilling, baseball, and all those other summer activities I love so much. Fantastic, fun Hangout 2015 is time for bed....as folks come across a new band they think would be awesome on the Hangout stages, please post a name, link or clip for us to check out. I have a whole lotta new performers I listen to because of information provided on this thread. Big thanks! Also like to keep track of my new Hangout friends. We took a big step getting together this year at the Purple House and hoping we can work to get a bigger and better meeting next year. If you have ideas, share them. For now...condo and tickets all safe and reserved for next year and visions of 2016 forming in my head.
