That's how I found it too. I just Googled Hangout rumors 2016 and it came up 4th, so it's all good.

Fantastic, fun Hangout 2015 is time for bed....as folks come across a new band they think would be awesome on the Hangout stages, please post a name, link or clip for us to check out. I have a whole lotta new performers I listen to because of information provided on this thread. Big thanks! Also like to keep track of my new Hangout friends. We took a big step getting together this year at the Purple House and hoping we can work to get a bigger and better meeting next year. If you have ideas, share them. For now...condo and tickets all safe and reserved for next year and visions of 2016 forming in my head.

I caught a bit of Steelism with the group. Met rcatthebeach and a few others I think on top of the group we walked in with (sparkysarah, chickinchickasaw, beachbob, mattlikesrock and myself). Went and got a drink with Sarah and came back to watch some more of the band. Looked around and everyone was gone. Saw Bob and Paula headed to the beach and tagged along with them. Glad I caught Jamell. Didn't really run into many other people throughout the weekend besides Paula's group as we hung with them and at her house and spot a lot. Did run into you before Spoon I think and we tried to get over where you said you guys were for that set but never saw you. Saw mattlikesrock in passing a few times and beachbob at the bar while I caught a bit of J Roddy.
Yes, it is hard to get folks together and just thankful I was able to hangout with those that did meet up. I think ChickinChickasaw was the only person who showed up at IWE for the meet n greet. Guess that once Zen got a ticket all that fell apart. Steelism was ok...but, there were just too many who were convinced that the Reach the Beach winner was the real deal and from those who listened to Jameel...were satisfied they made the right choice.

Don't go away Bob. Those of us that know you respect you for what you did to bring everybody together for both Zen's ticket and the meet and greets, and we'd all miss you if you weren't here putting your 2¢ worth in. You've been hanging out here long enough to know better than to let anything anybody says on this thread get to you. What difference does it make what any of us think anyway? The trick is to act like you're staying there. I used the IWE lobby as my personal beach access every day, and they only stopped me once to ask how the surf was.

The problem I had with the morning meet and greet was I drank too much the night before and missed it. Glad I caught the end of jamell doe.
On the beach? Sorry friends. Short fuse today. Should not let negative folks drag me down with them. I lost count of how many new friends I made at Hangout this year. Keeping up with usernames and real names was a challenge for my remaining memory.
Tedeschi Trucks, OCMS, and everyone of the performers Zaj included. I'm sure by next Hangout there will be a bunch of new, haven't heard them before I will want to see. Listening to MMJ, Cold War Kids, and TV on the radio on the deck with cold beer. Three of my favorite new to me performers.

I went to Steelism but since AT&T hated life that weekend I had no way to know what people were wearing. I even looked for a bunch of people wearing name tags but no dice.
This thread certainly has changed. In the good ol' days people were clamoring for David Bowie AND the Rolling Stones. Now BeachBob is annoyed there aren't enough wrinkly old has beens at this thing.
