Had a dream last night that hangout had comedy theatre with aziz headlining.
I had a dream last night that I was back in high school, walking down the hallways naked and I couldn't remember my locker combination. Then I fell off the cliff and woke up.
ZZzzzZZZZZzzzzz blahhhh fast forward me to May 2016 please...
Man, I feel that. There's only so much predicting we can do and in 6 months there will be a skew if new artists that are hype and those that have faded.
Trying to get tix for Jason Isbell at Ryman and all four shows sold out. Chris Cornell also appears to be sold out. Dang. Chicago is playing with Eart Wind and Fire. Monsters and Men making the rounds. Agree there will be a slew of new named acts by HOF.
Agree. Amos Lee played main stage at noon on his first HOF and made the best of it but, the crowd was cooked and just trying to survive. Wish they could play til 1 am and start about 2 pm. The other option would be turning Palladia parking lot into a big tall sun screen tent with open sides.

...dream song
I had this dream where I relished the frayAnd the screaming filled my head all day.It was as though I'd been spit here, settledIn, into the pocket of a lighthouse on someRocky socket, off the coast of France, dear. One afternoon, four thousand men died inThe water here and five hundred more wereThrashing madly, as parasites might in yourBlood. Now I was in a lifeboat designed forTen and ten only, anything that systematicWould get you hated. It's not a deal nor aTest nor a love of something fated. TheSelection was quick, the crew picked andThose left in the water got kicked off ourPantleg and we headed for home. Then the dream ends when the phone rings, "You doing alright," he said it's out there mostDays and nights, but only a fool wouldComplain. Anyway Susan, if you like, ourConversation is as faint as a sound in myMemory, as those fingernails scratching onMy hull. -

I like Jason Isbell but his Roo show a few years ago was kinda disappointing. Granted it was hotter than Hades at the Which Stage that day but it just seemed dull to me. Hope they don't put Jason on Palladia or it could be a repeat suffocating snoozer. He deserves better.
We saw him at Peabody Theater in St Louis this past February, and it was unbelievably boring. It's a shame cuz I love the songs but this show was really flat.
Would like to see someone other than Kanye and Sam Smith on the lineup. Radiohead, Muse, Stokes are all thumbs up, but too many others that I would rather see and probably a lot of others too. Chris Cornell would be one. Even Mumford and Sons. Definitely want to see Stapleton and Sturgill Simpson somewhere middle of the lieup. Sheryl Crow would be fun on the beach. Santana or some form of the Eagles/ Joe Walsh, Don Henley would be a good closer. Can you come up with someone other than Kanye and Sam, Zen?
Jason is from Alabama. Excellent live with 400 unit when playing uptempo. Since he won the Americana award and new album he plays small auditoriums better. Tedeschi-Trucks Band or NMA without the Word would be better. Blackberry Smoke drew the midday sun Chevy Stage and still rocked. Would like to see them before closer on Hangout Stage.
We have to accept that acts like Kanye and Sam Smith are going to play this, or any festival. With 75+ acts we cant like em all, cha feel?
Oh god, not kanye! Anyone but him...
wouldnt bother me none either way. i most likely wouldnt be at his set unless he played sunday. just dont like his live show even though i like most of his music

I'd go just to see him sweat his ass off wearing that stupid mask in 85˚ heat with 90% humidity. All that would be left at the end would be a big ole pile of melted ego, bless his heart.

Who are your reasonable (pretty much anything except for broken up bands, Bowie, or Daft Punk) headliner wishes? Let's do a top 10 and see what kind of diversity we get.

I appreciate the first six lineups and have been entertained enough to come back for number seven. I just hope the breadth and depth of diversity. I don't keep up with new talent as most on here. Just spread stages during the day with alt, indie, folk, rock, and boom boom tent stuff.
My off the top of my head favorites who I want to see similar in 2016 are; KOL, Tom Petty, Amos Lee, Jason Isbell, OCMS, Modest Mouse, DMB, Foos, RHCP, and Jamell last year.
Tedeschi-Trucks and Tame Impala, Vintage Trouble, and repeat from one of my faves to date would be nice for 2016.
