Haha. Yeah, now that you mention it. I completely spaced on that. You told me to go check him out at Buku, and it was a pretty cool/chilled out set. It's definitely worth the $12.00 in my opinion.
I don't know if this is anything or not, but I just got an email saying that some bands I follow just announced a new date. It said NIN and Delta Rae are playing Voodoo. If you click on any of the names they all say City Park. Isn't a bit soon for NIN again? They just played in 2013. I think it might be a glitch, but I am bringing it up to my dude and seeing what he says or what he can find out.
Yeah, that's got to be an error. No way NIN is back 2 years later though it would rule to see them again. Ozzy is Saturday, so that's already a glitch though he could likely appear on any of the 3 days even though Voodoo already disclosed he was headlining Halloween night.

Well glitch or not, I got my guy asking questions...so we will see what happens.
I could see NIN coming back again soon like that. They've probably played the fest more than anyone not currently based in New Orleans. Also that link has Tom Morello doing a Nightwatchman set.
Songkick has been wrong before. They had the Weeknd playing Howlin Wolf for $5 once, but it was some other thing. It was before the Weeknd was blown up like he is now, but he was actually in Europe at the time. We had to call the venue to verify it, so I am not sure if I am putting my faith in that "addition."
Who will still be added then? We're down to about 11 weeks and a couple of days. Give it up!!!!
So my guy that always gets me info, isn't coming down, so he isn't digging for information, which means I will probably not get nothing this year, FYI.

So there generally are other acts added to the lineup? Is that what I'm understanding?

In the past they usually add a couple of acts after the initial lineup is dropped. We also don't normally get a daily breakdown of acts with the initial drop of artist. I would say, yes we are going to get additions, but the fact that they are doing things completely different, this is the first year that Live Nation has been in control during this part of the festival, it is all the guessing game. Another thing is they have only been at the new fest ground location for two years. This will be the third Voodoo at this location, and each year they have done away with things from the other location and have kind of downsized the festival.
I hope and pray that they are going to add the 10-20 acts that they usually add (especially since Sunday is so weak), but there is no telling if that will actually happen due to all the recent changes.

Sunday's not so weak. Deadmau5, Chance The Rapper, Eric Prydz, The Cult, Tchami, Title Fight, Dumpstaphunk, Elliphant, Mija, Here COme The Mummies

I'd honestly say Sunday is my favorite day, although ZBB certainly puts a stank on it. Honestly Halloween Day/Saturday for me probably has the least exciting lineup. It's great at the top of course with Ozzy and Jane's Addiction, but the rest doesn't overly excite me. Even if there is a lot I'd be interested to see. Other than maybe Sunday we probably won't roll in until the late afternoon anyway.
I don't have any knowledge to know one way or another, but I honestly don't figure the lineup to change. I think it is what it is.

For my taste, it's weak. Out of all those acts that you listed, I only want to see three of them and none are Deadmau5. I have been contemplating selling my wristband Sunday.
Gonna have to get into the LOA pit to see doofus kids riding the rail all day on the GA side and take some pics of them when they're in complete misery during ZBB waiting for Deadmau5.

Hahaha, I didn't even think about that. I may have to see some of ZBB just to witness those two crowds meshing.
Sorry, I haven't been paying attention to Voodoo's fb everyday because I'm not really excited for Voodoo this year at all. I did decide to go because I don't have to use any vacation days and that Mastodon late night show though. It's still weird that they put ZBB billed ahead of Deadmau5 on lineup despite all of us knowing who got paid more. I thought for sure that would mean he was closing Le Plur like every other EDM headliner in the past. You know his ego forced Voodoo to do this. "I'm the first laptop mang to ever close down the muthafuckin' what stage and you want me to close your little halloween snicker dick EDM stage? NOT HAPPENING"
So ZBB will be before Deadmau5 for sure? Ugh. I'm one of those now forced to watch ZBB. Maybe ZBB closes the other stage? In a twist of recent events?
Is that what they would do? Last year for I think when Outkast was on the man stage Booka Shade DJ set was supposed to be on le plur. But there was some type of flight problem. The last night was Foo Fighters, Pretty Lights and London Souls on one of the back stages. So would Prydz close le plur? Or would ZBB play a back stage and main goes Chance into Deadmau5? Sunday is funky for me since I didn't plan to catch either of the Top 2. I'm not wild about ZBB, but they are tolerable live for the most part, and no one can question their talent. I. also don't really like Deadmau5. I've tried to watch multiple shows, but outside of the visuals, I find it boring (I like some of the mixtapes). I was looking to catch Fishbone, Chance the Rapper, Slightly Stoopid, The Cult, Tchami, Quickie Mart, Here Come the Mummies and Dumpstaphunk. That's a solid day in itself.

No chance in hell on that one. Other big stage is strictly for yo bass drops.
That would really be unfortunate for Deadmau5 and Prydz to conflict simply because Joel "had" to be on the main stage. I'm not sure how it can work any other way though?

Is it possible for ZBB and Joel to play the same stage without there being a significant amount of time to move both band's production off and on stage?
