Holy shit, was it even close to being that big in 2010? I remember thinking it was incredibly small back then, at least for a big fest like Lolla.
It was still a tent in 2011. After the first day of the fest that year they removed half of the roof of the tent and then in 2012, they built what is essentially a third main stage in that field and did away with the tent entirely.
EDIT: Also, that crowd for Bassnectar was during Black Sabbath, The Black Keys, and Wale (lol) on the other stages.

This is what it used to look like. I think it looked the same in 2010 because I was searching for pictures and they all looked similar. I didn't attend until 2011.
So I'm considering this, but I'm wondering are there any more adds on the way? Looks pretty full, but I'd love to at least have Ride added.
There might be an add or two and replacement acts if someone drops out but if you look at the leaked set times, the schedule looks pretty full already.
That's too bad, but a pretty good lineup nonetheless. Might make it a trip to Chicago with just the Saturday of the fest.
Just bought my ticket for Saturday. Going to go solo and get a hotel somewhere in the suburbs, since getting a hotel in the city w/o splitting with someone is way too much for me.
I'd have to miss out on any aftershows most likely, but I want to be back in Cleveland early Sunday afternoon.
My chances just shot up exponentially of attending. I'd have to do this on the cheap and thanks to chicojuarz, that may happen. I'll have to skip Bonnaroo for it, (which is what I was having a hard time with) but I'll gladly trade a Jamie Lidell lead Atomic Bomb! and Slayer for Wilco and Sleater-Kinney. Most everyone else I'm excited for is also playing here. That Bully ep put me over the top though. I'm pretty in love with those songs.

I think I'm one of the few people on here that love Wilco. I understand why people don't but I'd be lying if I said that wasn't a huge part of me going. 20th anniversary hometown show? Ya. I can't just let that go.
Courtney Barnett is showing Union Park listed twice. Friday and Sunday. Seeing as she's playing Sunday, could Friday be an after-show? Or am I looking too much into it?

Just bought a 3-day pass after weeks and weeks of daydreaming about it and then putting it off for some reason. I'll be headed there with one of my great friends from Iowa. Now for the fun part. I'm looking to make the weekend way more awesome and complicated for myself. I'm already pretty excited for Chance, Future Islands, The New Pornos, RTJ, Caribou, Panda Bear, Todd Terje, Mac Demarco, Parquet Courts, Jamie xx, Courtney Barnett, Waxahatchee, Tobias Jesso Jr., Mr Twin Sister and Viet Cong.
