Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Can my friend and I join your group? This will be our first VIP Bonnaroo. I'll be driving down from IL and picking her up at an airport somewhere along the way. I've got an EZ up, stove, and about a dozen tarps.
I'd like to add that if there's a quiet area and a not so quiet area of camp, Chris and I want to be wherever the late night party people are
So far it's looking like one big party :-) if it becomes a situation with quarantine, I'll be sure to put you with the night owls
Speaking of owls, some of you may remember the wife and I from last year (Owl Camp near cell charging station). We are 5th year Roo vets (4 years VIP) and would like to try and join your Armada.
Tainted Opossum if you would be so kind as to point me to the Thursday meet time and location we'll do our best to roll in with all you cats. One car, one tent and 1-2 canopies plus a strong light setup and we cater an annual wine and cheese party. Caveat: we don't come to sleep.

Did you guys come in what I vaguely remember as a mini? And then have that awesome solo spot? I have read over this and want to say that's what I remember.
Welcome to the recent signups, I'll update the chart when I get into the office. Location and time details on their way soon as well

Hey everyone, I hope you're all rested and preparing for another exciting weekend on the farm! While there is an email thread continuing among the members from last years sparklefart, I'd like to get an inforoo going for signups and information exchange.
My name is Ben, earned the nickname Dallas Ben last year so I'll keep that going. Our good friend Girion47 organized this last year, and has elected to pass the torch this year. I appreciate everything he and his lady did for our camp last year, and want to continue in that respect in 2015.
Sparklefart began in 2014 with one simple goal. Take the vibes of GA, the community, the spirit, and implant it into a VIP community. Its not easy to get the vibe in VIP, unless you have the proper community. This group is around 20 people, ages ranging from early twenties to early fifties, and is entirely welcoming of any new comers. With sparklefart, you're guaranteed two things: a bond, felt almost immediately, with some great people from all over NA. This bond, in my opinion, is the best I've experienced in my years on the farm. In addition to that, you get a community experience unlike any other. Running into fresh yet familiar faces on the farm is more enjoyable than I thought possible. The other thing you're guaranteed is a unique bonnaroo experience, wherein you enter the farm as strangers and leave as friends. Its a cornerstone of the fest experience, and is often difficult to truly experience without putting yourself out there. With sparklefart, the hard part is over by the time you first say hello to your new friends.
I invite and encourage everyone who wishes to join this community. Sign up below and I'll create a roster. The more, the sparklier!
UPDATE 04/21
Please send me a PM with the following info
1. Inforoo Name - Feel free to provide your guests inforoo names if available
2. Real Life Name - I don't want to call you Guest78569 the whole weekend.
3. Phone Number - cell phones preferred as a home number will not help if I need to contact you on your way to Roo (plus how else am I going to send dirty pictures?)
4. Email address - please look for an email confirmation from me
5. Have you actually purchased your tickets yet(in full or started the payment plan)?
6. Will you be driving or riding, who will be in your car? Please also include the names of those who will be coming with you that are not on inforoo. I am looking for a head count and a vehicle count
7. Any requests on who you would like to camp by? If you will be sharing gear with someone and need to be parked by them I will need to know!! Also, last time I did this I had a designated "quiet kids corner". This is for folks who know they don't rage much, if at all, at night and wanted a little tamer atmosphere at camp. Mind you, it is still Bonnaroo, but at least your direct neighbors will be quiet
8. Any details or news that should go in this post. I won't be able to think of everything.
9. Number of Roo's attended. I'd like to get a mix of Pros and newbies in the camping area.
Theme: This is something we all need to talk about
Meetup Time:I'd like for us all to meet at 0900 CST(1000 EST) Thursday June 11th If you arrive earlier, I'll like you, maybe even give you a cookie. The caravan will depart the lot at 10 AM Central. We need to get on the farm before the true heat of the day kicks in and have shade in place. Stragglers will hopefully be able to add on to our row but there are no guarantees.
Meetup Location:We're going to continue the tradition of meeting in the church parking lot. Considering the amount of sins we plan on indulging in, I like this bit of irony. The place is Red Hill Church of Christ, 2839 Hillsboro Blvd. There is a large parking lot behind it where we can put the groups together and line up for the caravan onto the farm. Since this is private property and they've been kind enough not to kick us out yet, I ask that we please be respectful and not leave any trash behind.
Here it is on The Googles and we will update with pictures once I get some of them on hand.
Cheers Sparklefarters! I know we were chatting on the facebook page but I thought I would bring it into here.
A few thoughts/ideas for the group:
Is anyone for or against heading into the campsite about an hour or so earlier than last year? I would be in favor of it for a few reason. First off, depending on how hot it is it's always easier to set up before the sun gets too far up. Another reason is they usually open up centeroo about 12, and we like to head in to check out the fountain, arch and possibly hit up that free Teva booth (if it's around this year). This gives us time to set up and get into centeroo when it opens. Just a thought.
Another thing to consider is are we going to have another brunch on Saturday and are we going to make any specialty drinks again this year? I believe last year we had a Sangria, some margarita's and runninglouisville made some delicious mint julep's! I'm sure we are going to be spending some quality time back at the campsite together so organizing some of these things might be a good idea.
Is there anything else we discussed last year that we are missing? I know a lot of us ordered hammocks so we are going to have an area full of them. Did anyone order one of those larger canopies to use as our hangout area? If not I will bring our extra one that we used last year.

I am all for getting on to the farm as soon as possible. I will be staying in Chattanooga so its just a short drive in the morning for me. But other people may be driving through Wednesday night so that would probably be a little difficult in that situation. Either way, im cool with it.
I think Saturday brunch is a great idea. This way anyone can still go to Friday brunch in GA as well. Im an avid homebrewer and thinking of making a bonna'brew. Probably something light and refreshing that mostly everyone should be able to enjoy like a Raspberry Wheat Ale or something. Im willing to take any suggestions or preferences on it. Im also coming from Tampa Bay so I will be bringing beers from Cigar City and other breweries from around here to share. I also will have some food to share of some kind. Thinking of trying my hand at making homemade beef jerky.
Can those of us new to sparklefart get an invite to the FB page as well?
I put this on the Facebook page, but wanted to toss it out here as well. We live an hour from the farm. If anyone needs a place to crash Wednesday night, let me know.

Omg yes! I am a native Floridian. I am so excited you're bringing stuff from Cigar City! Also, we would love to add all of the new additions to the Sparklefart Roster to our official camp FB page.
Can everyone who signed up please PM me with your full name? (If you'd like to be added of course...)
My wife and I would like to be part of a Sparklefart. This is my 5th Roo and the wife's 3rd Roo. 2nd VIP for us both. We have a Coleman canopy that is 13 x 13 and plenty of camp cooking gear... can bring what is needed.
For the record, we would be in favor of a 9 AM departure.
And wow, you're like a walking, talking infomercial to turn people away from Pearl Jam and Ohio State, aren't you? Before you started posting here I quite liked Pearl Jam and was indifferent towards OSU, now I find myself wishing that Eddie Vedder falls down a mine shaft or that Columbus is infested with locusts

Welcome PJ!
With a bigger group - we are definitely going to need a larger hangout area. We can use Sarah and my larger canopy but maybe we can connect yours up to ours. I think we also have a fold up table that we bring to hold all the food and stuff (and Hershey products).

HERSHEY PROOOODUCTS! )))))haha. We should consider making a list of what everyone plans on bringing and then decide if we think that will be enough. So long as we're all willing to contribute, I'm sure we will have more than enough.

Also I think we should turn as many cars sideways as possible, once the attendants move on. With a little teamwork we can add a lot more room to the center hang out area
With this picture, you can see a bit further into the central part of the campsite, there was a kitchen area which green dome over to the left beside our tent, then a relaxing space that was covered by around 6x2 or maybe 7x2 EZ UPs. I'll try to upload more to get a better range
1) I'm all for getting through the gates when they open on Thursday. Many of us will be staying nearby the night before in a hotel room and pretending to sleep but not really because EXCITE, so we'll be ready to go early.
2) I'm going to make signs for everyone to put in their front window when we drive in so that parking attendants know we are all in the same group. Said signs will be glorious.
3) I'd just like to point out that the sign in this picture says "Clothing Optional Beyond This Point"

As long as there's no jacuzzi's to clean-up this time....

Hey everyone, I think we should start a poll on what time we would like to meet and depart, so far the debate is:
Meet at the church at 8, leave before 9
Meet at the church at 9, leave before 10
Given that I barely sleep the night before Roo and am usually up with my foot tapping before sunrise, my vote goes to 8/9
I realize that we are all coming from all over, and that we need to find a comfortable medium so that people don't get left behind, if we can't come to a solution maybe we can land on 8:30/9:30 ?

Hi there, Stephen, my boyfriend and I would like to join the group. It sounds like a lot of fun!! My 15 year old will be coming with us. He has no intentions of hanging out or camping with us, he is way too cool for all that, but may occasionally come in and out. Would this be acceptable and or appropriate?
We (my GF and I) wont be in Manchester till about 11am. We are seeing Mumford in Maryland the night before so a 10 hour drive wont put us in TN till after you guys head in. Hope everyone enjoys and are you guys gonna have a flag or something marking Sparklefart so we can stop by?

I don't understand... your 15 year old is coming with you, but not camping with you?
He has some awesome intelligent trustworthy high school soccer teammates going and staying in GA. He just found out about his teammates, but before that his intentions were to find a tree to climb in with his ENO. I understand if you guys are not cool with it or do not think it is appropriate. Truth is I need a babysitter/entertainment for my boyfriend while I get my beauty rest. He can stay up all night and I just can't hang ????

This is just one mother's opinion here, but personally the situation doesn't make me very comfortable. You obviously know your son, so know how mature he is, so if you feel he can do his own thing at Bonnaroo, that's awesome. I don't quite think I understand what you're asking of us, though...
Are you asking for your 15 year old to camp with us along with you and your boyfriend? If not, is he coming in with you, then going off to be with his friends for the weekend? As a mom, I also need to ask - have you and/or your son been to Bonnaroo before?
We're pretty welcoming of all kinds of people, however, I don't think anyone wants to end up being a "babysitter" for anyone else. Personally, I also don't want to worry about censoring myself or my activities because there's a minor around, you know?

I was joking about my boyfriend needing a babysitter LOL. Thanks anyways and hope you all have a great time! Maybe next year

Hey - I'm sorry, I promise I wasn't trying to run you off! I was just trying to understand a bit better what you were asking in regards to your son. Sorry I didn't get the joke - reading meanings behind posts is hard! lol
