if I were going to Coachella and using that link for info, I wouldn't want this link merged with it. I think it's better to leave this to us observers...

I don't have a strong preference one way or the other. Like Billy said, a vast majority of posts made during the festival last year were people at home and most of the comments from attendees were about shows they had seen. Anybody trying to meet up and such already has lines of communication worked out, so no posts like that are going to get lost in the shuffle.
If you guys find me posting from the festival this weekend - please fly out to Indio, find me, find my balls, kick them, and force-feed me more/better drugs.
Brewfest is this Saturday in my college town, should be a fun time. It shuts down at like 6 or 7 though. I plan on coming back and putting the race on TV, go back and forth between youtube and XM finding Coachella content on my mac.
So in the big Coach thread, I had asked if we should have a separate thread for those of us watching online and it got a bunch of likes. I think there's enough of a difference between the stream and what's really going on there to warrant a separate thread.

My friends invited me to be real life social on Saturday and I don't know what to do... I think sitting at home watching the stream may win out. This doesn't happen every weekend, but getting drunk at Paige's apartment does.
Does this make me a lame ass? It might. I don't care.

Invite them to your place to drink/watch? Or are they not that into music?
For people who haven't watched past years, headliners often aren't scheduled on the stream lineup but typically do air as well.
That's good to hear, I was really hoping to get to watch Drake's set. Towards the beginning I had doubts on wether he was suitable to headline, so I'm curious to see how he fills the spot.

I'm disappointed Steely Dan & Philip Selway aren't listed but maybe I'll get a surprise anyhow. Very excited for FKA twigs but can't decide whether to tune in to Run the Jewels or leave them unspoiled for Bonnaroo.

Not enough to watch the stream. This would sound like a totally boring night to them. On the upside, I figured out that my blu-ray player has YouTube on it, so I'm ready to go!!!!
I'd bet Delicious Meatball Sub only wanted the threads merged because he thought the titles were the same, as did I initially. Maybe updating the thread name to something more unique would help, then no need to merge.
