last year we had a great chance of rain every day and had great weather. I'm more concerned with temps. as much as I want a cooler roo, I'm not fond of a COLD roo. just means more I have to pack and find room for in poor already crammed big red.
And I'd think it would be best to look at predicted rainfall totals, not just the percentage of precipitation. Who cares if there is a 90% chance of rain if it is only going to rain .1 inches? At least, I think I'm analyzing that correctly. I didn't really study the climate in college.
Don't forget knee socks or you'll get chaffing on your calves!
I wear the soccer socks with them.
I didn't even think of that, but that's a good idea, too!
Funny story about rainboots....So I went to Menard's to pick some up over the weekend. Couldn't find any of the shorter ankle rainboots and MY CALVES ARE TOO FAT FOR THE REGULAR LENGTH ONES. I was seriously hysterically laughing in the store looking at the way my leg looked when I tried to shove my feet into them. My mom was embarrassed for me and my fat calves, but all I could do was laugh.
So I'm looking at the weather and temperature predictions and I'm noticing mid-60s for the nights. Does anyone have any idea what it's been like at night the past couple of years? I remember being comfortable at night the last two years (I'm from Michigan...so cooler isn't always bad for me, haha). I had to put a sweatshirt on in the middle of the night while I was sleeping, but otherwise, I found the nightime temps to be perfect in 2013 and 2014.

Casting Instructions for 'Stop the Rain Spell'
When it is getting dark, Chant this with faith and concentration : "Gods of power, Gods of might, I bid you now, stop this plight, Stop the rain, we need no more, Let it fall, nevermore."
Put a lot of feeling in stopping rain from falling from the clouds and it will not fall, it will simply move to a area away from where you are and then fall.
Of all the frustrating threads on this site.... this might be one of the more annoying
Next year, mods should delete the weather thread until the Monday before Bonnaroo. Any earlier is just room for talk of Slayer and male lactation.
lol i don't mind that at all, that is at least entertaining. But this is easily the biggest cyclical thread on here. Some noob comes in posting about how its raining in Tennessee-->people start posting about how it will rain during bonnaroo-->someone says it is too early to predict-->someone posts a 30 day forecast-->someone says weather is always unpredictable-->next morning repeat the process.

you summed up this thread PERFECTLY, except, you missed... what are you all talking about? nipples? slayer? Get back on topic.

I was planning on doing this. I get cold easily and I heard nighttime can be chilly.

Oh you most certainly will need a hoodie. If you wake up in the morning you are either dying of heat exhaustion in your tent or you are covered in freezing dew. And around 1am the night gets a bit chilly so just prepare.

TN is like any other place in the south. In the summertime, there is always a small chance for rain/pop-up storms.
However I have a feeling we're in for a wet Roo. We had a dry beginning to May but then it rained every day for the last week of May. I love the sunshine so I'm a bit sad.
This site will show you historical stats from years past. Based on this, it should be similar to last year with a bit more warmth, I remember definitely needing a hoodie last year, and not needing one the other years I've been.
