Every year I take time before Bonnaroo to attempt to predict which shows will be really crowded and which ones will have some space. In the spoiler below is the current ranking of artists (currently as of 4/17) and their predicted crowd size based on total estimated attendance of 80,000. I also have extrapolated how they might move around with respect to other artists by looking at the average daily change since late January and estimating where they will be by the time we're at Roo.

Note that there's much less data on artists added later (Comedy & Cafe), and that the predictions for D'Angelo, Kacey Musgraves, & Songhoy Blues are probably conservative estimates.
Also it's probably worth noting that Reggie Watts and Chris Hardwick are the two comedy shows no one has a shot of getting near, while Jeff Ross and Natasha Leggero are also approaching that point.
Twiddle could be crowded. Their fans show in bunches and every show or fest set I've been to was packed but I'm unsure if they would bother for roo
I posted this without thinking much. They have 2 sets at Disc Jam same weekend so their local loyal base will most likely be there so this might not be as crowded as I originally thought.

I expect Earth Wind & Fire to be packed more. Atomic Bomb! will also draw some interest as well since Bonnaroo is hyping that show I also expect 21 pilots to be pretty cramped as well. I also think like others that MMJ will have more.
Slayer will be crowded early but thin out after people can say they "saw" Slayer perform.
I love Pokey LaFarge but I think his number is too high, especially since I predict some major band conflicts during his set.
X Ambassadors, depending on where they play, could also draw a pretty good crowd.
Unlocking The Truth is playing on Thursday so I expect a bigger crowd for them as well.

I'm probably going to change it around once the schedule is out so that I compare just which artists are playing at the same time to predict who will be where. Didn't AC/SF say something one year about 10% of the crowd being in the campgrounds pretty consistently during the day? I think they quoted that as a reason they were expanding Pods or something.

I wonder how much of that 10% are "coming down"
Guilty during kayne last year, but that was planned and so worth it =)))
Word is as of a few weeks ago they'd only sold 50k tickets, so you may want to adjust accordingly.
Ouch, that sounds rough for Bonnaroo (but like Fuzzy said, not for those of us attending). I wonder what a normal number for this time of year is, and what percentage of sales typically happen in the last month?

Jesus that's low.
I wonder how the distribution of ticket sales typically is from blind presale in nov/dec leading all the way up to the fest. Pure speculation but I would imagine most people buy shortly after the lineup release, since it takes a lot of planning to attend a large music festival.

It's probably because they raised ticket prices and put out a shitty lineup.
It'll all be worth it on Sunday when 11,000 fans are sitting in the What field half heartedly mumbling the words to Piano Man. A slice of Bonnaroo magic!

I estimate that each tent can hold about 10,000 people under it and then overflow from there. Is this about right? Are some tents larger than others? This Tent feels like the largest, but I have no idea really.

I feel like This Tent is the largest and The Other Tent is the smallest of the 3. Not sure by how much.

Pretty sure The Other is the smallest. I'd love to see the actual area of each tent.
Shit, this year someone just needs to nerd out and bring an open reel measuring tape. Get us some firm dimensions!
