Just skimming over last year's lineups (SK and Governor's Ball) and counted 4-5 bands that were on both. Some bands that seem to make sense as crossover: Beck, Death Cab, Of Monsters and Men, Gary Clark Jr., Catfish and the Bottlemen, Nothing. I'd be happy with all of these.

Maybe The Killers are one of the headliners. Killers-DCFC-MMJ. Others that could play Haim, Lord Huron, Eagles Of Death Metal, Bully, along with the ones you mentioned.

I would be the only one that wouldn't leave early if it's the killers wouldn't I?
They closed Firefly Sunday night of this past year, and I was really enjoying it until I just hit a wall and was so fucking tired. Right around the end of the set - but then of course there was an encore. I was one of the drivers home (only a 2 hour drive back, but still, it was brutal), so I wanted desperately to get going once I became that dead tired.

I think most of our guesses will be close to what we get with maybe a big surprise mixed in. I have been guessing mmj, death cab and of monsters for awhile but I could also see the yeah yeah yeahs, cage the elephant, and even beck(even with the past drama) filling the top lines. Sspu I expect as well and am stoked about. I wonder who will fill that flogging Molly type of slot though.
As for death cab they are definitely headliner worthy in the shaky knees world and they were amazing at the Fox last year. Of monsters was great as well!
Just a few more days and I can't believe we haven't had any real leaks have we?

Does anyone think we could get someone totally random that hasn't appeared on the current festival lineups yet? I mean a big grab that's kind of off the wall. Like Vampire Weekend. I think they're supposed to have new music next year? Or just a popular band that hasn't announced any kind of tour or anything yet that we haven't thought of?
I'm just trying to think. All the festival lineups so far have no big surprises or anything or nothing that excites me too much personally, besides LCD Soundsystem. That would be fantastic if that actually had any chance of happening. I wonder if Sufjan could be a SK headliner?
I'd like if we could get some names from Levitation too. I would love Ty Segall and King Gizzard, The Murlocs if any of those are possible.
Sufjan would be a great pull. Would he headline? I'm going back and forth on that.
He very well could because Sweetwood likes to give headlining spots to bands who don't typically headline, but a lot of people also thought Ryan Adams would headline as well.

There were actually some shenanigans with Sufjan around last year's Shaky Knees. Cobb Energy tweeted that they were really excited for a show they booked and were about to announce and tweeted a corner of the Seven Swans album. But then Sufjan announced his tour and Atlanta wasn't on it. I don't know what to make of that but there you go.

Friends! Text me the lineup as soon as it's know please. Pretty please. I'll be at the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME!!! Thanks!
I see how it is. Don't think I'm going to follow through?
I couldn't remember if I asked you about shaky knees Or bonnaroo or both. To be honest, I think it would be awesome for my phone to blow up (not literally of course!) with lineup texts!!

Yes. Maybe maybe a strong sub headliner.
Yeah, you're right. probably sub headliner. I don't know if he would be headliner material. But I would love to see him on the lineup and I think he'd be a perfect fit for Shaky Knees. I feel like there's a good chance. And I wouldn't be too surprised if he was a headliner tbh.
