So who all is in for this? Fore34 needs to be keeping track of such things in the OP.
Sorry Dave, I dropped off cause the lineup didn't do it for me compared to levitation and it's my time for finals in school and I'm under the gun.
Very understandable. Levitation is going to be great. If the two festivals were equally convenient for me location wise, it'd be a battle every year. School is also very important. I might start a Shaky Knees logistics thread. We've done one in the past to help better keep track of who is going, where people are staying and recommendations for the city. I know there have been some food and parking recommendations recently that I will want to find closer to the festival.

Yeah, I apologize and thanks for understanding. Shaky is wayyyy easier for me to do but I'm making the 16 hour drive to Levitation this year cause it's just too good for me to pass up. And, yeah, all my school work is extra packed and stressful right now because I had to ask all my teachers to allow me to finish all my work a week early so that I can go to Texas. Consequently. I'm simultaneously working on bits and pieces of 5 different papers and studying for 4 exams and all of it has to be done by next Wednesday.
I'd greatly appreciate and support the logistics page being made to really hash out the details and help people figure out any details they may be hung up on.
Another rainy start to 420fest...don't know how the park is not going to be a mess for both fests.
It actually hasn't been too bad but forecast still looks bad tonight. Supposed to be fine the rest of the weekend. We shall see, at least there are a few weeks before Shaky. Wonder if 420 would have to resod right away after the fest if it gets bad.

So, I made it about a song and a half through Kid Rock. After that, I decided "fuck this," and left. On my way to the car it started thundering which caused the rest of Kid Rock's set to be cancelled.

So checking out this map again, it seems like the best place for the food trucks would be along Andrew Young Intl. Blvd, right? Cause you know they prob won't let them onto the grass within Centennial.

A lot of that area is not actually grass. Sweetwater had all the vendors set up on a concrete area.
Unlike previous years, the 2016 food lineup includes more than trucks. A number of stalls will be in business as well. Another first this year: Dining options will be divided into two separate clusters, in Centennial Park and International Plaza. A spokesperson tells Eater Atlanta Shaky Knees is making this move because of the festival's growing size and in hopes of cutting down on some of the big crowds at peak eating hours.

Last year Fox Bros was off to the side of the food trucks and there was NEVER a line. It was my secret every day. This weekend at 420 it was right with the food trucks and also no line. It's probably the best BBQ in Atlanta, I wonder if out of towners just assume it's not great because it wasn't from a trendy food truck? Grindhouse is a solid add too, pretty good burgers.

I can appreciate them rectifying the food situation. Last year, I missed whole blocks of music for food, which wasn't fun. I am confident they'll fix it right. Tim seems to have his ish together. In other news, King of Pops returning is probably more exciting to me than most things.
Still struggling hardcore, though, on Huey Lewis, Silversun, and Decemberists. I can either see all three for like 35-40 minutes each, or skip Silversun. The lady friend loves Decemberists and Huey Lewis more, so that's what makes it tricky. I know I will be wasting time walking if I try to split them up, but of the three, Silversun is my favorite. If the late night was just them and it was $30, I would be there. Can't justify $50+ after fees.
Adding an opener to the foals/ silver sun seems like an odd move. That was already gonna be a late night with a co-headlining bill. I know I'm getting old when instead of happy with more music, I groan at the losing sleep.
