What are you trying to say? The security will taze you and have their way with you?
As others have said....this isn't really "new" and there isn't going to be a "new" security team as far as I know. Maybe I'm wrong but I don't think anyone should be worried about this.

We roll in with a minivan. The first year I went we didn't even get searched. Volunteer asked if we knew the rules and circled our car and pushed us through. Last year there was a bag line but it ended up always being just clumps of people. 1 volunteer was really checking bags, making them dump it out, doing all kinds of excessive shiz and finally a supervisor came over and told him to just look inside, squish the bottom, and send them in.

I had no problems dealing with security getting into centeroo last year, they were all reasonable and pretty friendly encounters, which hasn't always been the case.
Getting in though, I had to go through a body scanner and all my bags were x rayed.

It was all pretty easy for me last year, except for the one time. I didn't even know there was an unmarked FBI tent in Tent Only until the undercovers tackled me and dragged me in, and the cavity search was no fun. But I took a little bottle of Fireball in on Sunday night and never had my bag dumped, so it was all good.
This will be the year that 5-0 tosses my car, just because I'm going to have it crammed full. One in our group endured a pretty thorough search of his van in 2011 (one guy in a work van). A neighbor had his goodies confiscated and got cited that time, but his car was falling apart and he hid his shit in a peanut butter jar in plain sight, so it isn't surprising.
you must have gotten lucky. at least 5 of my group of 11 (and 3 of the other 6 were volunteers and didn't have to go through full security) have a story of being overly harassed by security. and they had stories of other people in line and shit that was done to them, too.
and about the shoulder to shoulder on the beach comment - it's actually pretty loosely packed in the crowds. that was one of the better parts of hangout. no pushy crowds and everyone gave each other their own space.
Besides having my private area thoroughly groped everytime I entered Hangout it was also annoying the time they held me up to have three different security personnel sniff my hand sanitizer before the third guy was like "um, his is actually hand sanitizer guys". I party at the condo and don't even carry a bag so that I can breeze on in so this was a little annoying. Also annoying to see the repeated arrests on people entering with a minute amount of corn. Please. And the venue is wide open for space and getting on the rail for shows. Just not the same vibe as Roo.
Did anyone ever complain to the security people (particularly a supervisor) about the groping/harassment that was occurring? That's insane, I would have flipped out on them.

Googled the hangout arrests, this was pretty bad. And they didn't have over night camping either,
"A full breakdown of festival-related arrests are as follows:
1 -- resisting arrest 32 -- public intoxication 4 -- disorderly conduct 1 -- carrying a pistol without a license 39 -- unlawful possession of a controlled substance 13 -- second-degree possession of marijuana 6 -- possession of drug paraphernalia 1 -- third-degree domestic violence 1 -- criminal littering 1 -- use of false identification to obstruct justice 1 -- second-degree theft of property 1 -- third-degree theft of property 11 -- minor in possession of alcohol 1 -- misdemeanor leaving scene of a traffic accident 8 -- warrant/failure to appear 1 -- warrant/fail to pay 2 -- city ordinance violation of doing business without a license 2 -- city ordinance violation of sleeping in a vehicle"

A crappy situation for sure,
What a wide array of crimes - some of which I'm thinking "wow that fucking sucks to be the one busted for that" (public intoxication, second degree possession of weed, littering, etc.) and then others where uhhhhhhhh thank god that person got caught (namely "carrying a pistol w/o license" - no one brings a gun into a festival for good, safe reasons...).
Yeah. Definitely not planning to ever go to Hangout
