What an incredible weekend! Possibly the best festival I've ever been to. From the music, to the art installations, to the natural beauty, to the attendees, everything was amazing.
It was so depressing being at JAX last night and seeing it filled with Hula people when I wasn't also coming from there Tons of them on my first flight to Baltimore and a handful of them even were on my Hartford flight.
Glad that you guys enjoyed it!! I WILL make Wanee again next year and with Halloween on a Monday, maybe I can do my family stuff and Hula next year. Hopefully!
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
We had an amazing time at Hula! Words can never do it justice. Best non-musical moments: 18 of us at SCC dressed up as Muppets. 6 of our campmates had art displayed in Spirit Lake. Funk Yeah!!
A few of those artist are inforoo's very own:
MikeD created the Sand Art Genetator, which was a huge hit!! Mojoworks, created two sick looking Zoetropes. Looking forward to where these go next year!! Proud of both of you and an honor to work with you on these projects. Great job! I or Short Cut Camp(SCC) created the Jumbo Light Brite and The Dragon(floating tennis ball pendulum wave). Other SCC artists were Morhing mobiles, Fractal Shadows, and Danwah Butterflies. Spirit Lake looked amazing and I for one am already looking forward to next year.
^^ Thanks to you guys. The art was awesome and really created the feel and energy of the whole fest imo. It was a great little world to be in for a few days.

Best musical experience: Dumpsta put the funk in the dump, I could Ramble On about that set as well as some Lettuce on Sunday. I enjoyed the old skool ghoul train cheese set, funky and different, different like each of their other sets. pretty lights, well they were even pretty with my eyes shut. Wish I would have caught Chace the Rapper set, I heard it was good. I missed a few shows. Having two stages in Spirit Lake worked very well and a great idea. We enjoyed that area with BSZ, Nth power, and many more great acts through out the week.
Best part of the musical experience: No Rage sticks Chairs not in front of stage is key
Suggestions for next year: Glass Animals Ghost land Observatory More area around the lake for Spirit Lake art
