When do we get the 2nd line up? I'm so torn between this and Voodoo. Voodoo doo is in the lead due to proximity, so a badass 2nd round may push towards a dif decision.
I don't want to be negative, but I highly doubt that we are gonna get any big name acts added for multiple reasons: 1. they don't really need to because tix have sold extremely well thus far. 2. We already have more big names on the lineup than. Hulaween has ever had before.
But, god damn do I hope we get FlyLo as an addition! (Ratatat would probably be my distant second option)
God damnit, don't be negative!! Jk
I'm really looking for some lower card names anyway. Chali2na has been all over these types of tests so I'd love to see him again.

I hope the ordering is correct, the one problem I see is that you have each night being closed down in the amphitheater but they usually have Friday/Saturday closed down by an act on the main stage, which makes sense because it's each night's headliner (Thievery Corporation and Big Gigantic last year, Pretty Lights and Primus this year.) Also, why would they have Odesza close the amp after Chance when Chance is billed 3rd?

Well, the lineup is so stacked this time. Other years they did SCI, then a latenight amp, then a latenight mainstage.
I figure this year they're going to want to extend latenights with all the great acts, so I figure maybe squeezing an extra each night following the mainstage latenight. They did it sunday last year. It was SCI on main>future rock on amp>Eoto on Main>Joe Russo on amp.
As far as Odesza v.s. Chance, I figured either could fit in either spot, really. I didn't see the latest night spot being particularly more prestigious than the spot between SCI and the latenight headliner.

Gotcha, it really doesn't matter to me as long as they make sure that all the later acts get long enough set times. And ok, I thought there may be some logic behind the Chance/Odesza booking but I guess not. Anyway, yeah, I think your schedule will end up being pretty spot on

It looks like pretty lights is playing freaky deaky 11/1 Considering Primus is either Fri or Sunday, and that STS9 is confirmed for Sunday (and assuming 1 of these still be the late-night head liner each night) I think this supports my theory of: Primus - Fri PL- Sat STS9- Sun
The Hulaween FB acct asked what collabs we'd like to see? Big G snuck out to perform an improv song w STS9 at waka. Perhaps wed see the same thing from Griz? Id love to see Chance mix w a DJ but since he has his own band, maybe Griz pops out for that. Primus and SCI? Papadopapod!
So from what I found, artist by day: Thursday Joe Russo's Almost Dead
Friday (some artist could have listed first day of fest) SCI×2* Pretty Lights* (tour dates) Railroad Earth (website listed) Papadosio (wedsite specific, show on Saturday elsewhere) Dopapod (website listed w/6 pm start, maybe amp) The Nth Power (Website listed, touring with Dopapod) Sister Sparrow &TDB (website listed, show on Saturday elsewhere) Turbo Suit (website listed)
Saturday SCI×3* Chance* (Tour Dates) Odesza (website listed) Slightly Stoopid* (tour dates) Sam Bush Band (website listed) The New Mastersounds* (Tour Dates) Goldfish (facebook poster)
Not for sure Primus The Floozies Future Rock Earphunk Jon Stickley Trio Post Pluto *means they are definitely that day and not just a date on the website

Suddenly transportation has become a major issue. Anybody passing close to Panama City? I'll have plenty of gas money and perks unmentionable. It sucks but I need a ride. Short of that I'll have a ticket to sell at 2nd tier price or a bit lower. Any takers please message me. Shit happens.

Dopadosio closed out Catskill Chill 2013. Dopapod set, Papadosio set, combo set

Would anyone have a suggestion on how to sell an already purchased ticket that's on a payment plan? It's not what I want to do but I can not physically show up there on my own. I would never survive the 188 mile hike and there is no existing technology available to me that would allow it. Once again sinister forces have kept me from going to the SOSMP. Tomorrow I will be charged the 3rd payment. I made a commitment that I'd pay for this & Hulaween is committed to receiving the payment; and they will. I'm desperate at this point. Missing Hulaween and spending the 31'st here is bad enough but paying $245 for that experience......... I'd much rather attend the event but I will settle for a loss to sell my space. If anyone knows anyone who'd be interested please PM me I can provide proof of purchase in the form of receipts and bank transactions.

Fucking hating it, MB
If you're still just needing a ride, I may be able to scoop you on the way from Pensacola. I'll be going Friday-Monday and should have room unless I decide to ride with someone else. Either way, I know about a dozen people heading there from Pcola and Panama City isn't too far out of the way. I can keep you in the loop if you're still wanting to go but just need a lift.
last year we got artist additions 9/5 so we may possibly be seeing additions as soon as this week
Yeah last year complete lineup flyers were passed out at North Coast Music Fest a few days before they made the official announcement. So maybe if they do not do anything official by this weekend, we will hopefully at least get some leaked info!
who were the additions last year? i can't remember... just trying to gauge the kind of artists we should expect to be addd (like where on the bill they would be)

90% chance it's going to be the "rest" of the lineup - probably a bunch of Florida bands and possibly national/international DJ's that fit various profiles within the broader demographic of what Hulaween is doing. This is what they did last year:
Silver Wrapper and Purple Hat Productions have added new artists to the lineup for the second annual Suwannee Hulaween including electronic producers, Shpongle (Simon Posford DJ set) and Emancipator, legendary rock guitarist The Dean Ween Group, Suwannee Bluegrass Surprise, Kung Fu, Thievery Corporations’ Rob Garza DJ set, Nashville’s hottest Americana Folk Trio Judah and the Lion, Ghost Owl, Strung Like a Horse, Jonathan Scales Fourchestra, Shane Pruitt Band, Suenalo, Beartoe and Post Pluto.
Sooooo, we were all wrong in assuming that Pretty lights would be on Halloween. It turns out that he will be playing Nashville on Halloween night.... So, my guess is he will be playing Friday. The real question here is when the quack is Primus gonna play!? They either will have both of their top two play one night OR have one of their top two close the festival. I'm just bummed because I was hoping to leave a little early Sunday to get home.

I forgot PL is playing Freaky Deaky Sunday. So this means he's just about certainly playing Hulaween on Friday.
Primus is either Fri or Sunday- so that means either Friday will have 2 sub-headliners (PL and Primus) or Sunday will (Primus and STS9). I wonder how they'll make this scheduling work
