Kanye I've seen so many times... But, he's so good I can't help but wanna see him again. Killers I can't say I'm too familiar with their work... But you bet your ass I'd be in that crowd screaming "Somebody Told Me" at the top of my lungs. Strokes were awesome last time, but to be back so soon is kinda weird... But, they were SO AWESOME last time, I'd have to see them again. Beck? Never saw, totally excited for Beck.
If you want to prepare at all for The Killers, just skip their most recent album and listen to the first three. My high school girlfriend was super into them, which got me into them. Their first album still holds up for me.

The leaked names (aside from the top 4) arent really that high. They skipped a bunch.
Yeah that's what I figured (guessing they have at least 2 in the top 10), but given the crowds they've gotten last couple of years for deadmau5, skrillex and avi, I wouldn't have been surprised by a top 4 booking.
Will be curious to see who plays against Kanye, or if Beck doesn't close a stage.
I'm okay with this top 4, hope they pulled a couple of gems in that 15-20 range like tame and hot chip last year. Hoping for two door cinema club, last shadow puppets or the arcs.

They were amazing. Huge crowd; I was midway up, left of the tower in the middle of the crowd, and I was actually pretty pissed for a decent portion of the show because I was completely surrounded by douchey boys and girls talking and yelling over them and purposely bumping into my SO and I. When I saw them in 2011 though, damn. Fucking awesome. I honestly had more fun at the Julian Casablancas/Voidz show. And he played Instant Crush soo..

Is it really confirmed that Kanye will be playing Friday already? What time does music begin Friday? I am moving to BK next weekend for my new job so will be living down there during Gov Ball but will most likely only want to attend Friday
I think D'Angelo not popping up on the Coachella lineup was shocking, so it'd be interesting to see if Gov Ball got him.

He's released two of the best albums of the 2000's (voodoo and black messiah) and puts on one of the best live shows you'll ever see - just ask anyone who watch his LN show at bonnaroo last year
If this leak is legit, I will have to find a way there. I went to Govs Ball in 2014 on the day that Jack White and The Strokes played and The Strokes were phenomenal. I haven't seen The Killers or Beck, so that would be sweet, and I love Gary Clark Jr.

Exactly. His three albums are near-perfect, and his live show is incredible. I haven't seen thousands of performers yet, but D'Angelo & The Vanguard ranks as my favorite concert-going experience.
