I was joking that he/she was actually launchpad's new account
Too late now. I'm running with it.
BTW, how many new accounts have been started just to question Launchpad and why do they always sound the same? The abortion guy and Perez Hilton are two coming to mind.
How embarrassing is it that he continues to carefully monitor this forum that he angrily stormed out of, and get jealous of other people collecting the attention that he worked so hard for?
^ I'm cool with that. Although I'd much rather have Gorillaz headlining than Mumford, I doubt we'd get Gorillaz AND Radiohead.
I honestly don't think the Gorillaz will be touring next year. Though I could certainly see them touring 2017 IF Damon Albarn doesn't get distracted by a side project.
Whether booked or otherwise, my understanding was that OP alluded to two bands. Tristvn suggested that one was LCD. I inquired as to the basis of that assertion. He supplied a quote. I asked about the quote's origin. I haven't received an answer.
I am not gambit88. I'd think obviously.
I get it. Hiltons, like Perez Hilton. Like scoopz. Nice.
You do not get it. Hiltons, like Hiltons, VA, a location of music-historical significance.
If I were launchpad, I would already know what bands he was talking about and where to find the quote that was attributed to him. But I still don't know either of these things. It would be nice if someone could point out the quote's origin so that I could verify that those were his words and not someone else's. Sorry if this is against the "rules"; I don't know about any of those.

Oh I do get it, sir. You do not get it. It was a joke that would have been made for any blue sky egghead coming into the thread lately.
However, you get +5 for proper use of the conditional tense. +5 more for Virginia.

Here's what we know. I wouldn't bet on Kendrick or Mumford or Coldplay to headline for reasons that have little to do with how "big" they are. I say that most cautiously with respect to Coldplay, who of course are the biggest act of the three, and more cautiously with respect to Mumford than Kendrick. All three become likelier in the event of a fourth headliner.
As far as I'm concerned, it's still LCD, probably Lana (still unsure about headlining), and a rock act to be named, with a possible hiphop fourth. If I read Launchpad right, it's LCD, GNR, and TBD. Put those together and you've got LCD, Lana (sub?), sounds like GNR (ready those replacements), and maybe a hiphop fourth.
Kendrick could be that fourth - he's likelier there or as a guest than among a top 3 - but he wouldn't be my first pick or my third (fifth?) for that slot. Gorillaz would be a strong contender if they get an album out, but without a release year let alone date I'm not ready to name them yet. Same goes for Kanye, and not only for that reason. NWA doesn't need an album (neither would Destiny's Child), but my doubts that Coachella would put two to three angry/anti-social testosterone acts with a history of misogyny and homophobia and anti-immigrant sentiment on the poster, while probably unfounded, are strong enough to keep me from naming them either.
If the fourth is not a hiphop act, Radiohead is probably the leading contender, but they too lack a release date as of yet.

Lana played this year, doubt they'd bring her back so soon.

Is this about Coachella or Governors Ball? I'm asking about what he said about Governors Ball. Didn't GNR already play that? Where did you get them from?
I'm still waiting for someone to point out where that supposed Launchpad quote comes from.
sorry I need to protect my sources. But if you come back at 5 I might decide I no longer care about protecting my sources. Really busy at work right now though.
