Yeah, I was left in the dark initially. Found out about it last week after the deal went through. Wish it weren't necessary, but the ability to grab talent is becoming an increasingly larger hurdle.
There's part of me that thinks this will be good for GovBall's lineup, there's part of me that thinks it'll be bad. 100% won't be buying tickets next year until I actually see both this and Panorama's lineups.
They don't have anyone playing aftershows that isn't already playing the festival right? I feel like there's SO many good artists touring in the area around this weekend (Grimes, Blood Orange, Chance The Rapper)

In the past years they did have special aftershows of people on the lineup (Damon Albarn, Earl & Tyler, DJ sets by Deadmau5, Big Gigantic and FlyLo).
BTW, can somebody share the secret on how to squeeze in aftershows between three full festival days? In particular on how to maintain the energy and not be exhausted.

Launchpad McQuack I was more speaking to when they will announce them rather than who is performing. I think they were announced April 8 last year (if I remember).

Do a lot of blow I guess?
I honestly don't know. Taking a look at the lineup if I had to guess who might be doing after shows I'd pick M83, Jamie XX, Chet Faker, Matt & Kim. Eagles Of Death Metal confirmed they were playing the Warsaw on 6/4 but I don't see it listed officially on Ticketweb.
Main problem is that if you want to stick around to see the headliner, unless the aftershow doesn't start until midnight it's tough to swing both. Even getting down too Webster Hall/Irving Plaza can take 45 min from Randalls.
PJ, Jay Z, and whatever headliner is touring heavily for gov ball 2017
Doubt PJ for some reason since they are on the road this year and don't usually visit the area consecutive years. My best guesses: Vampire Weekend, Jay-Z, some terrible EDM act.

So I'm thinking of selling my 3 day pass and then purchasing a single day ticket for both Friday and Sunday (can't do Saturday anymore). Does anyone know if I can bundle the friday and sunday tickets to save on fees and shipping?
Also on that note, if anyone is interested in a 3 day pass message me. Just looking to make back what I spent, $315.
