Had to cut out early to meet someone at the airport. Bummed I missed M83 though by the time the downpour started during Miike Snow I was kinda over getting drenched. Did it continue to rain throughout M83?

Yesterday was super fun even with the rain. M83 made my night and had me giddy enough to enjoy the 2 mile walk back to Queens.
My goal is to have the same attitude today regardless of weather. I just hope no shows get canceled (although the sinister side of me secretly hopes the fest gets evacuated briefly before TDCC so I can rush back in and secure front row at the main stage for the and Ye)
Fn crazy year: a day of Voodoo, a day of Jazz Fest, Art Outside, part of a day of Hangout, Levitation something 2 weeks ago and now Governor's Ball. At least this fn super El Niño is fading. I guess there is still a lot of moisture in the atmosphere though. I hope y'all get to see something tonight.
I don't think that applies to the festival site, just the public fields - also, Lorde posted a FB pic from the fest site today, who would she be there with?

Real bummer, but def the right call. Especially with what went down at Rock Am Ring.
Definitely...after 51 people got struck last night there you knew they wouldn't take a chance. You have to think Kanye is gonna pop over to Summer Jam and throw down if they're still gonna go on as planned. Also, not that Prophets of Rage is rained out, if they're interested there's another festival next weekend with an open spot available for them on Saturday night

Probably the right call, but this sucks a lot. Like maybe most people, Kanye was my most anticipated set of the weekend. Glad we're getting a refund at least. 2 rain outs in 4 years seems like a trend honestly. I'll think about purchasing tickets to June festivals on an island in NYC very carefully in the future.

Sorry y'all. I echo the sentiments that I wish this happened yesterday instead of today if it had to happen. A little relieved I don't need to catch an earlier Amtrak back to Boston lol but very bummed to miss Bat For Lashes and Kanye.

what are the odds of any acts rescheduling shows in NYC venues for later tonight? I'm too depressed to keep sitting on my comp hoping for good news. But if Prophets for Rage end up announcing a show tonight i need to be on top of that.
