Had a dream last night that they released the rest of the lineup/schedule today. The only band I remember was Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, but they conflicted with another great band. Come on dreams, don't let me down!
David Grisman is a phenomenal mandolinist. He actually has a connection with The Grateful Dead - he played mandolin on the song "Ripple" off of American Beauty. Dawg and Jerry were really good friends and played together on multiple occasions I believe.
Everyone should listen to their album "not for kids only", it's a delight.
I'm listening to it right now. This is just wonderful!
Awesome! I'm excited for her. It's always good to watch an artist that was really unknown when you got into them get bigger. I believe this is the first big fest that she's played.

I feel the same way. Every year I expect to see her name pop up on at least one lineup, and now it finally has. Her's is a set I'll be at for fure

If we have the same number of artists as last year, including Museum thingys (excluding the two unannounced artists), and we keep up with this Mon/Wed/Fri announcement schedule, we will have our final artist on June 13th.

Margo Price was just announced to play SNL next weekend. I could see Newport adding her around that, either Friday before or Monday after
She has been singing backup for Andrew Bird's tour. Maybe he will be there also!
Andrew Bird has been getting a lot of play on Spectrum (dubbed NFF satellite radio) lately. Today caught just a few minutes of an in studio Basement Tapes show. Must hear this in its entirety. <-- Shall continue to dream for this.
Jumping in here real fast to say these dudes are awesome. I saw them open for Kacey Musgraves last February and they're a great Everly Brothers-esque band. Borderline tribute act, but they have some great original songs.

The new Lumineers dates make them pretty likely, especially since they're touring with Rayland Baxter (& Langhorne Slim). 21st in Italy then 28th in Toronto. I just worked a surprise show they played at a small club in Toronto on Wednesday and they were pretty good. The new songs sound exactly as you'd expect.
