The new Lumineers dates make them pretty likely, especially since they're touring with Rayland Baxter (& Langhorne Slim). 21st in Italy then 28th in Toronto. I just worked a surprise show they played at a small club in Toronto on Wednesday and they were pretty good. The new songs sound exactly as you'd expect.

Hahaha, the surprise show I worked in Toronto was a part of the radio station I work for, and you won tickets to the show, but didn't find out who it was until the show started. Only problem was half the people in line had got that email from the band, and they were ruining the surprise for everyone else. Worst. Kept. Secret.
AHHHH! YESSSSSSS!!! We don't know what day yet, right? I am going to die of sadness if they're Sunday. Please let me down easily if that's the case when they announce it.

So Ryan Adams just announced a show in NYC on 7/20 and then Port Chester, NY on 7/24 with nothing in between. I can't imagine he'd play Newport again so soon, but maybe he'll be at the Fort for something other than a Ryan Adams set

Okay, I was skeptical about this year's lineup...until today. Now that they have a filled that "someone special" slot with Middle Brother on Sunday, I gotta say, this lineup is as weird as it is awesome. So many surprises and strange decisions made. From this point on it's just all bonuses.
