First up, we’re thrilled to welcome Brazilian psych-rockers and Andrew Bird tour mates Boogarins to the lineup! Boogarins’ Fernando “Dino” Almeida and Benke Ferraz began playing music together as teenagers in the central Brazilian city of Goiânia– recording psychedelic pop in their parents’ gardens, filtering their country’s rich musical history through a very modern lens. They’ve now been on the road for nearly two years, with no signs of slowing down. Join them on Friday, April 1: bit.ly/1W90SOc

P.S. They're playing at the Standard
This gives so much f*cking hope to a Big Brave addition.

Just got an email saying Tier 1 tix are almost sold out. Am I incorrect in remembering them saying there wouldn't be tiered ticket sales this year?
Also, I checked out the burgundy stain session as well and it looks awesome.
I think it was just Bonnaroo that did away with the tiers.
On a related note, on the chance any of you were planning on using street team points for a pass, you need to send the community manager a message as they are not listing them in the store.

Yeah, I would totally be at Kamasi if seeing Kiasmos wasn't such a rare opportunity. He and his band put on possibly the best show I saw last year when I caught him in Atlanta. Amazing stuff.
I really hope to catch Kamasi at Roo. He's fantastic. But Kiasmos, as you said, is such a rare opportunity and I have such high hopes for that show (which I doubt they'll disappoint).

Whatever it is. It won't be big because Jig and Reel is not a large place.
The magic always happens at the small stuff, you know. I'm just hoping for a few collaborations. Didn't they also say they were gonna do shows in the Sanctuary or am I just making that up in my head?

"The beautiful sanctuary of #Knoxville's former First Christian Church will be a wonderful addition to our #BigEarsKnox venues - hosting John Luther Adams' installation as well as some select concerts still to be announced. And then there's the mystery venue ... cannot wait to spill the beans about this amazing addition to downtown Knoxville's cultural scene - coming soon!"
