Caribou...always a fuck yes from me Nicolas Jaar...if there was one person I'd been hoping they'd grab, it's my boy Nico. So pumped about this one, can't even contain myself. Woods...one of my top 10 from Bonnaroo this year King Gizzard...always happy to see them Sunn O))) Boris Super Furry Animals SupeЯfuЯЯyanimal Dungen Oneohtrix Point Never
I seriously can't even wrap my mind around how they put together a lineup so fucking amazing.
Levitation, the best fest (for my tastes) in America.
Great lineup for sure, wish I could go. I lucked out so hard with it being after Jazzfest last year. By far the best fest of 2015, and it wasn't even close.
As for Royal Trux, I'd say start with Veterans of Disorder, that was the first album I heard by them. I haven't heard everything though. I became aware of them via an of Montreal cover.

Wow. That's awesome!
As for SFAs, this is the only year there was hope for them to play Roo. *fingers crossed* I assumed Coachella would get them again but these news dates give me hope.
I'm embarrassed to say, but I've never listed to Super Furry Animals. Where should I start?

A lot of people might say Rings Around the World, but Radiator is still my favorite.

Love Kraft is my favorite. I also think it's their best. But, Rings Around the World is usually always considered their most accessible work. It's a great album. A nice mix of all their electronic experimentation and psych rock. It also has Paul McCartney playing vegetables on a track.
I'd start with those two. Then check out their earlier more experimental stuff like Radiator. I also really like their Welsh album Mwng but Griffs lyrics are hard enough to understand in English.
Edit: Pops made me think about it and you really will like their 90s stuff more then most, I believe.

Sweet, will definitely check out those 3. Electronic experimentation with psych rock is my kinda language!

Holy fuck! That lineup is a thing of beauty! Looks like they went for a few more electronic acts than usual, and they just happen to be some of my favorites: Caribou, Nico Jaar, and Oneohtrix Point Never on top of AnCo and FlyLo!

I know, right? OPN was supposed to play in '14 but had to cancel.
I'm still in lineup shock atm.
I should have bought that Forever Pass they were selling for $1000 a few years ago. There's no way I'll never not want to go to this fest.

Other initial observations:
The Murlocs are another fantastic Aussie psych band who are really good friends with the guys in King Gizz. It's probably a near certainty that they will go on tour with King Gizz after they leave Levitation.
I've got to think that Boris > Sunn O))) > Sleep in the levitation tent makes a whole lot of sense.
Same with Oneohtrix Point Never > Nicolas Jaar.
Same with FlyLo > Animal Collective. (Although that could be a situation where AnCo headlines and FlyLo is the late show)
Also, we got Mild High Club! Fuck Yes!
So do you guys think that Caribou is the 3rd headliner or someone else? If yes, I've got to think that this is probably the first festival that they've headlined. Now come to think of it, I bet AnCo hasn't headlined a festival either.
Looking forward to checking out some of the bands towards the bottom of the bill that I've never heard of before. This fest always seems to find some up and coming gems.

Not aware of AnCo headlining anything else, and I'd imagine Caribou is the other headliner. Last year the first 3 names closed down the main stage different nights. Actually, now that I think about it, I think 13th Floor Elevators got listed first when they were added. They were the 2nd to last on the main stage the night they played.
Boris > Sunn O))) > Sleep would be heavy.
Really hoping that Nicolas Jaar closes the tent one of the nights after the headliner.
I'm thinking FlyLo will be on the main stage before the headliner that night. I think him and his stage setup is too big for the tent where the late show happens. Unless they have Brian Wilson do his set 2nd to last a la 13th Floor Elevators, then have FlyLo close down the main stage after that. But if they went FlyLo > AnCo...may God have mercy on my brain, I might explode in ecstasy!
And yes, the bottom of the lineup is always a treasure trove.
Last year the main stage would shut down 1:45, the tent would go til 2, and the river stage would be over by midnight.
However, they've had some battles with neighbors about sound ordinances, but it looks like not much will change. Props to JUICY JAY for finding the Mass Gathering Permit for Euphoria (same location, a few weeks before).
This year Euphoria's stages will shut down by:
Fri: River - Midnight Main - 1:30 am Tent - 2 am Campground stage - 2am
Sat: Tent - Midnight River - 1 am Main - 2 am Campground - 2am
Sun: River - 11pm Tent - Midnight Main - Midnight Campground - Midnight
I'm assuming Levitation will have a similar permit, so the answer to your question ranges from midnight to 2am depending on the stage/day. It looks like the main change is the campground stage has to be done by 2am as well.
Size of the stages are as follows:
Main Stage > Tent > River Amphitheater > Campground Stage

Dungen! King gizzard! Caribou! Parquet courts! Jjuujuu! Oneohtrix! Good god this is shaping up to be fantastic. And I'll bet the 15 artists I don't know are all awesome as well. That's always the best part of this festival: you learn so many new exciting artists

I've said it before, and believe it even more now, but I have complete faith in the people who book this festival. The Reverberation Society have earned my undying love.
There's a lot on the undercard I don't know yet, but know I'll love plenty of it once I get a chance to check them out.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
Another solid Psych Fest lineup. Thinking there has to be 1 bigger headliner that they'll probably announce in like February. The Elevators reunion was announced like Feb 12th or 13th this year.

The other suggestions itt are on the money. I'd definitely recommend starting with Rings Around the World, then moving on to any of Radiator, Guerilla, or Phantom Power. Phantom Power has always been my favorite SFA record.
Make sure to check out the song 'Ice Hockey Hair' from the Ice Hockey Hair EP. To me (and a decent chunk of SFA fans), 'Ice Hockey Hair' is their very best song.
As someone who was somewhat critical of the initial lineup drop, I'm pleased by how the rest of the lineup has materialized. Unfortunately I most likely wont be attending this year in lieu of Moogfest, but this would be my backup for sure.
Also, Deluxe is worth if if you can spring for the extra $.

Anyone else notice Jessica Pratt was on the video announcement but not the poster? I would love to see her there. I got to catch her on your with Ryley Walker last summer (who btw was FANTASTIC at the '15 fest) and she was really delightful. She would be a perfect mid afternoon set on the river stage
