Ok so we have 3 locked down. This is how I think the rest will pan out.
1. Radiohead
2. Lady Gaga or Mumford and Sons. I know the Mumsons played in 2013, but their current tour skips Chicago, but goes to WI, and MN. Hmm. Lady Gaga is supposed to be dropping a new album this year, I have a feeling it'll be big and it could see her playing a few fests in the summer.
3. Arcade Fire? They're touring in July, playing the same fest as Radiohead and LCD in Portugal, only 3 weeks before Lolla. Don't count them out.
4. LCD Soundsystem- I still think they'll headline that Thurs.
I'd be fucking stoked on that lineup. The only bummer for me would be that Sia would conflict with one of Radiohead/AF/LCD and I'd therefor have to skip her.

I could see that going
Thursday LCD Mack/J. Cole
Friday Radiohead Jack Ü
Saturday Gaga/Mumford Disclosure
Sunday Arcade Fire Sia
I see it going
Thurs Samsung: LCD Bud Light: Macklemore
Friday Samsung:Radiohead Bud Light: Disclosure
Saturday Samsung: Mumford and Sons Bud Light: Sia
Sunday Samsung: Arcade Fire Bud Light: Jack U
I put Sia on Saturday, because to my knowledge Lolla has never had back to back EDM bud light headlining acts. I think they do that on purpose, so the kids can pace themselves. I really do think this is how it will play out, and now I'm thinking Gaga will opt for Summerfest as a warmup before she starts hitting fests.

I hope you're right because none of those are really even conflicts for me. Easy picks
Glad to see expectations for this festival are far too high as well
You think Radiohead/AF/Mumford/LCD are too high of expectations when 2 of the 4 are confirmed, one of the other band sucks major ass and an act that has already played the festival is too high of expectations? Woosh
So is Empire of the Sun a reasonable pick? They have a new album coming in September, and recently cracked the Hot 100.
Would they end up at Perry's? Grove closer maybe? Seriously no clue where they would slot in at this fest.
I could see them closing Lake Shore, or closing The Grove like Cut Copy did in 2014 against Outkast and Calvin Harris. There's a lot of stage production to their show, and their slot at Firefly last year right before The Killers at like 8:45-9:45 was perfect. Don't miss them if they play.

I would love them as Grove closer, especially if they're the only thing I want to see.
Also I'm just going to note that how the fuck does a band crack the Hot 100 with an eight-year old single?

Thank that stupid car commercial it's featured in.

Far too high? Explain.
Radiohead - Arcade Fire - LCD is setting the bar too high. CoS is not a "confirmation" to me considering Alex still seems to be getting info off here, but hey it's got my attention
I'm going to assume (unless somebody can prove me wrong please) that Thursday will consist of only undercard acts because Lolla can and will sell out that day regardless of who is playing. So my way too early and probably inaccurate because a lot of tour dates can be announced by the end of March prediction is Radiohead - LCD - Mumford - Sia - Disclosure - Macklemore

This has been stated again and again: all four days will have headliners.

Hahahahahahahahaha how are you honestly this stupid.

I personally do not think Arcade Fire is playing Lolla because they only have 2 announced shows. However, Radiohead's currently announced festival dates line up with Lolla and LCD is playing every festival they can so those two are very likely. Mumford/RHCP/Sia/Disclosure/Jack U/Macklemore or whatever could round out the rest of the top 8 isn't really aiming too high. This festival just had Paul McCartney and Metallica. I think at this point anything is possible on the top line.

Oh sorry I'm just pessimistic and I guess I somehow missed that. Can you point me to where we got this information? Not doubting you, just curious
