Always a possibility, but would Lolla really pass up Disclosure? At this point it's hard to bet against our two EDM main acts being Jack-U and Disclosure. Their schedules just seem tailor made for Lolla, that being said I hope neither is there, so we can get a Chemical Brothers, Underworld, or Prodigy(wishful thinking of course).
I could see maybe getting Jack Ü and Chem Bros. but it's obviously doubtful. If they got Radiohead, LCD, and Chem Bros. I'd freak out

I'm hoping for something like this
Thurs: *LCD(Samsung) vs Macklemore(Bud Light)
Friday: *Radiohead(Samsung) vs Zedd(Bud Light)
Saturday: Mumford and Sons(Samsung) vs *Sia(Bud Light)
Sunday: *Red Hot Chili Peppers(Samsung) vs Calvin Harris(Bud Light)
I would have a great weekend, and easy decisions all weekend long.
I feel like Arcade Fire is a definite possibility now with Wayhome's lineup out. There's only 4 days between the fests so I would expect a lot more crossover this year.

I'd be ok with this and it'd be easy decisions for me as well. However, I wouldn't be super excited about RHCP though there are certainly worse options out there. Hopefully you're spot on but it's Arcade Fire instead of RHCP. That is my dream set of headliners because I'd be at Samsung each night, except for Sia

After seeing that tweet, it seems like they're playing smaller fests to give more attention to those fests.
So Wayhome, Panorama, and FYF seem good to me. Outside Lands and Lolla already have Radiohead, so Arcade Fire included too would be wishful thinking. In some article, they said they were testing new material at a few fests for the summer, before finishing up the new album. I'm expecting Arcade Fire in 2017 at Lolla, but there's always a possibility C3 pulled off that 1-2-3 punch of Radiohead-Arcade Fire-LCD.

Yeah, that's my problem with it too - RH/AF/LCD in the top 4 scans as "Pitchfork on steroids". I'd love to think it's true. But that seems way out of this fest's wheelhouse.

Lolla always has that one act in the top where people question whether they're a headliner, or people just don't like them. See Coldplay(2011),Black Keys(2012), Mumford and Sons(2013), Eminem(2014), Sam Smith(2015). Safe bet some artist will sneak in, and piss people off haha.

Red Hot Chili Peppers are only playing 3 dates in NA which was posted by Rock on the Range (they already have 3 dates announced)
You have a link? I was hoping for RHCP, because I thought their 2012 set was decent, but could've had a little more bite. They're my favorite band, and I was front row at Lolla. I just left wanting more.

Samsung
Elton John-Tour dates are open during Lolla, and once they got Paul, anything is possible.
Radiohead-Already confirmed.
LCD Soundsystem- I'm thinking they get a three spot, because of how expensive they are, and how rare of a get this is. See every bill they're on so far. Hell they're billed first at Wayhome over Arcade Fire(who's from Canada).
Macklemore and Ryan Lewis- Pains me to say this, but I think we might actually have this twat headline Friday. Originally I thought he would play against LCD, but whether we want to admit it or not, the kids love Macklemore, and he could fill Samsung without question.
Bud Light
Frank Ocean- No one is talking about him, and I could see Lolla taking this risk. Remember when The Weeknd came out of nowhere, and then popped up on the bill last year. I'm expecting the same with Frank.
Jack U- I have no idea what EDM acts will play Bud Light this year, but it's hard to bet against any Skrillex led act, and they're playing all 3 South American Lollas. It's possible.
Sia- She seems to only be doing fests, and I think she might be out of P4K's price range, and I don't see her not playing Chicago, so I'm hoping for Lolla.
Disclosure- No Chicago dates, tour dates are iffy, but I still don't think NCMF got them, when Lolla's EDM fan base loves these guys.

This Elton John bit. You're making it out like he's some kind of rare booking? Since he's played Roo '14, he's played quite a few festivals. Christ, Music Midtown booked him.
I'll preface this post by saying that I never take random posters claiming to have inside information seriously. However, there's someone on the Lollapalooza subreddit who was correct last year about Metallica and Paul McCartney before they were announced and he called LCD Soundsystem and Radiohead back in November. He posted a small list of acts that's he's confirming.
"Miike Snow, Major Lazer, Disclosure, Ellie Goulding, Lana Del Rey, J. Cole, Radiohead, LCD Soundsystem, Kanye West, ASAP Ferg, and Vince Staples."
Obviously take this with a huge grain of salt and I wouldn't be surprised at all if his list is completely wrong but I thought it might be worth mentioning.
