Has there been a date given for when the lineup drops yet? I know tickets go on sale 03/22, which seems kind of late compared to past years (but my memory could be off).
I do remember last year- the tickets went on sale early in the week, 3-day GA passes sold out, then the lineup dropped (leaked?) Thursday night/Friday around 3 AM, so I bought 3 single-day tickets the moment they went on sale Friday morning at 10 AM central. I just can't remember when that week was!
Last year the lineup reveal was March 25; tickets went on sale March 24. There's no date yet, but I'd imagine it's the same thing and the lineup is officially dropping March 23.
Also, the lineup was released in April for a long time, but since 2014 they've been doing it in late March.

Thanks! I swear I remembered it being even earlier, although I've only been 3 times (08, 09, 15) so I don't usually pay as close attention as with other fests. Whether or not I go will likely depend a lot on Radiohead's non-festival tour dates anyway, so maybe those will drop soon and I can start making more solid plans. Thanks again!
Because I'm bored, these are the acts I expect Lolla to share with Osheaga:
1. Lana Del Rey 2. Radiohead 3. Disclosure 4. M83 5. HAIM 6. Future 7. Grimes 8. Flume 9. Beirut 10. Leon Bridges 11. The Last Shadow Puppets 12. Bloc Party 13. The Arcs 14. Silversun Pickups 15. Foals 16. Kurt Vile & The Violators 17. Wolf Parade 18. Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats 19. Daughter 20. Years and Years 21. Gramatik 22. St. Lucia 23. Oh Wonder 24. Vince Staples 25. Post Malone 26. Keys & Krates 27. The Strumbellas 28. Frightened Rabbit 29. Goldlink 30. Hiatus Kaiyote (they did a Lolla aftershow a couple years back without actually playing the fest) 31. Banners 32. Nothing But Thieves 33. Night Riots 34. The Struts
Noob to Lolla, are they seriously going to not drop the line up until after tickets go on sale? I would assume that they generally sell out quickly so do I buy blind?

If you want a 4 day pass, you're going to have to buy blind on 3/22.
In the past two years, they released the lineup the next morning (3/23) a couple hours before single day tickets are released.
Last year's undercard was tragically boring. Literally nothing exciting on there that wasn't at plenty of other fests.
That seems to be the m.o. with LiveNation fests these days, though. Book a big top line, then stuff the undercard with easily available acts and disposable festival fluff. It's certainly turning a tidy profit for them.
You just described pretty much every major festival for the last few years. If you want left field acts you have to go to left field festivals.
I'm not really sure what your point is. The Coachella lineup is good but there aren't that many acts that aren't at other festivals in the US that could be seen as easily available.

...what?
We get it, dude. You're a CoachellaStan. But some of us are sick of seeing Underworld and 2manydjs on every fucking lineup.
Any opinions on Despacio? I can't find anything for this week pertaining to them, and Panorama announcement has me wondering. If anything, they could resident at one of the local spots all weekend. (Metro?)

I'd consider Despacio very unlikely. It feels like AEG/Goldenvoice might have a exclusive deal with them to set it up at their festivals. Notice that it is not at 'Roo.
Feels like LCD is just coming in for a one off gig at Lolla. They're at Red Rocks for two nights a couple days later.
With the Panorama announcement, I guess that Arcade Fire probably isn't playing this but Kendrick Lamar just got a lot more likely.
I don't think it makes it any less unlikely. They are playing one more North America show that is unannounced.
So far all of their festival gigs are in July, it would make sense for them to play the final festival gig at Lolla in late July before returning to New Orleans to work on the album.

Is there gonna be a full LCD tour this summer/spring? I keep seeing potential dates/venues being tossed around and it's making me anxious. I'm guessing if anything it would be announced after Coachella?

I'm not a big fan of their music, but they always kill it live. Loved their 2010 Lolla set.

It's sure starting to sound like
Read Hot Chili Peppers - LCD Soundsystem - Radiohead - and then an EDM artist or Lana Del Rey
Which is pretty solid. I'm just so burnt out of RHCP. I can't be the only one. They haven't put anything good out in nearly a decade. And they ain't cheap to book.....ugh.
